Also I must note that the curriculum this video and I refer to are Christian curriculum. There are some secular curriculum, though I hear they are hard to find but most Christian curriculum can be modified to fit the needs of the homeschooling family.
A note because she doesn't mention this but the curriculum that "hold your hand" like Abeka are expensive, they can be between $500- $1000+. However the unit studies like the Weaver, coupled with other resources can be a LOT cheaper. I spent around $300 total for a curriculum that can be used from grades k -7. Rod & Staff is also very very cheap and workbookish format like Abeka.
