Two different genres.

Although Wolfmother sounds alot like the 70's rock and roll... they still wrote their own songs and the lead singer can still sing. Better than most bands today hahah.

The Cat Empire... definitely better live, and definitely unique, but play completely different than wolfmother. So there isn't really much to compare.
