  • You are correct. Hypnotherapists don't have psychologist degrees or training in that field, and usually a psychologist doesn't have any hypnosis training. Some have attended a 3 day training and they know they are not qualified to do hypnosis. But a hypnotherapist who has years of training is a greatly qualified person to do it. That is why MDs, psychatrists,and psychologists refer patients to me.
