Spring were actually very good..fantastic harmony using good material (pedigree of course, Wilson). Is that Diane Rovell in the middle?..had a crush on her years & years ago...if so she still looks fantastic ( & yes, I would)!!!

If you like The Honeys, they morphed into a group called Spring.

Brian Wilson (Marilyn's then-husband) played an integral role writing and producing their 1972 album that didn't sell well, but has since become a sought-after collectible. There are some very good cuts on it including some BB covers. With Marilyn and Brian's divorce, Spring became dormant.

Rhino Records issued an anthology in 1988, and there's a 1992 Honeys collection (Capital Records) .

Yes it's true watch the episode of her show with Wendy Wilson on watch when Tyra talks to Marilyn i'm gueesing Tyra is trying to keep her eyes from popping out or they're going to popout. What are your guesses if Diane and Ginger would of been on Tyra with Marilyn? I'm guessing Tyra would have fainted. you can't blame Tyra I would have too.

The Honeys were a more-than-passable backing-singer trio, as back-up for Brian & The Boys - as this clip demonstrates, I think. But, hell, Diane Rovell still looks fabulous, after all these years. It's little wonder that Brian had a real thing for Dianne, right from the start. But thank goodness he ended up divorcing Mare .. for his own good. He's much better off where he is with his new family & fabulous touring / studio band.

Thanks for posting--I was at the show and was hoping this would show up on YouTube. If anyone is not aware, this song was originally recorded by the Ronettes, and there are videos of Ronnie Spector singing it in recent years. One of my favorites!

Regarding the Honeys, I don't think they made many records, and none of them "charted", but some of their songs are available on compilation CD's.
