  • the gliter looks like snow?

  • I am very happy I came across this video. I am looking to construct & decorate a small Christmas village of glitter houses & buildings for an "O" gauge model train display. It's a bit late to get started for this Christmas, but there is always next year! I received a lot of good ideas from this short clip. Thank-You very much & have a Merry Christmas!

  • Where do you get the house from

  • I love it!

  • Cool!!!

  • only do it on the roof so it looks sort of like snow

  • I've not seen these(blank houses) anywhere and we Have the Lobby and Micheals, but i will look again...I Love the Putz

  • Michaels or Hobby Lobby

  • i like it without the glitter

  • @felicity091 i so agree with u

  • @felicity091 yeah, houses without glitter are much nicer than glittered houses in my opinion

  • So neat thank you for doing this. I have the house but I never thought of heating it to get the door etc off.

  • Where do you get the cardboard houses? I have searched high and low!

  • The ones I bought at Hobby Lobby are from Crafty Productions Inc.

  • I LOVE this project, thanks for sharing!!! bright*blessings on 2Peas

  • I painted the bottom flat area around the house white.

I wanted to keep this video under 5 minutes, so I also didn't show re-adhering the window frames.

For those; after you paint the front of the windows and door white, just put some glue on the backs and adhere them one at a time.

I used Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue for that.

  • I absolutely love you PINK GLITTER HOUSE!!! It's glamorous and adorable!

  • Ps...how did you do the bottom? ~Lisa of the ThayerZoo

  • This is sooooooo cool. I love the tip on taking off the doors & windows with a heat gun. If I am blessed to win, I will be doing this for a project to take to a local nursing home. If not, thank you for sharing this idea so it can be passed on to others. :) Thayerzoo @ 2peas
