iStopmotion for video capture, Photoshop for special effects, iMovie and sometimes Final Cut for editing. Using Mac OS X.

Big Monkey has a low voice. We put a chorus effect on it, then we repeat that again.

Maybe, only if Anakin has already turned to the darkside (after Mace Windu's death and Palpatine calling him Darth Vader). He must be called Darth Vader by someone in the video.  Someone else almost got in the contest with something similar, but no one called him Darth Vader, so the entry to contest was denied.

As for your mp3 or mp4 player, you will need to refer to it's owners manual for info on it. Our file uploads to YouTube are mp4s , we have found that they run a little better than the other video file formats that YouTube will accept.

I would love to enter, but I have no Star Wars Lego's! I have a great Lego Indiana Jones movie that I made on iMovie '06 but I can't figure out how to get in on YouTube from there, if I move it to iMovie '08 (What I normally use) it speeds up the framerate REALLY fast and all the sound is gone.

how did ya do the voice

We record the audio with a USB microphone with a program called Sound Studio. I use my best "James Earl Jones" low voice. (Younger people might have to pitch shift to get a low voice) We then add chorus effect to the voice and add the effect again on top of that.
