Thanks for your word of appreciation! In my opinion, if you mean valve stem cover/cap, you only need it if you want to keep the opening clean. In case of dirt or other things may get stuck in the area, you may not be able to pump air into the tire or bleed air from the tire.
I have a question.. is the "valve stem" really needed? I don't know much about these things haha but I own a 1999 mazda miata and one of my wheel is missing a "valve stem"
