  • We have to sing this for choir and its my fav. song!!!!

  • @johncenagirl97

    You'll do fine! : )

  • @draanexle @PilleJOns I'm proud to be an American. You don't have to be. If you don't like it, I'm sorry. I didn't say America is perfect, I know it's not. But I'm still proud to call this country home. "I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free, and I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me."

  • I may not agree with all the things my country is doing or has done, but I won't go so far to say we are terrible. I am proud to be me, and I know I couldn't be who I am if I lived somewhere other than America. I thank America for giving me that opportunity.

  • You love being american?

    Now watch /watch?feature=player_embedded&v=m7G2F-bvjJY#! ,

  • Im in the Army and this song brings joy to me knowing people do care about America.

  • Look at 1:01 She's Beautyful in the world

  • Maybe somewhere in the 1560 comments this has been mentioned, but the original song is 'Sweet Remembrance of You' by William Joseph, who is from Arizona.

  • Celtic Woman, Thank you so much for this beautiful song. It's great to know that Ireland loves us back!

  • We are singing this song at my school Choir Concert. It is so beautiful. I love this song, it is my favorite out of all of our songs in choir. :)

  • Thank you so very much for all the wonderful music.

  • US flag 2:53 in the background video. I think its safe to say that this song is referencing the USA.

  • @RingBearer1992 I'm not sure what the original lyrics were, but this song was written for Celtic Woman, so I doubt that these aren't the original.

  • Parecen angeles!!!!!!!

  • Hoo-Rah! to the red, white and blue!

  • awesome

  • This is an appropriate song to honor our veterans today on Veterans Day. God Bless America, and thanks to Celtic Woman for such a beautiful tribute to The United States of America.

  • I love being Irish but living in America.

  • @rushboy98 u suck

  • @smalltownkid2004 I like where I live, and that happens to be in America. People like me, and I help many people. I just don't think America is politically helping anyone. Think about it, ALL the problems that we are trying to solve have began because of us, and we try to put on this "liberty" show. We shouldn't have any pride for our country in this way, but I'm all for the society and being friendly to my neighbor

  • @4amlibra I find it funny that you don't see that this song is not just about a country (land-wise), but includes the government and the "noble" soldiers, and our history "full of liberty."

  • @wordyeaux You hate America do you? There is a simple answer for that... get a big suitcase pack a bunch of your things and head to another country!. You don't want us and we don't need anymore of you. You trolls are a dime a dozen.

  • God Bless Ireland and the USA!

  • @wordyeaux It's almost funny how many people don't understand the difference between a country and a government. Almost...

  • @ashtonbluerose Makes sense... Impress an idiot with idiocy

  • ....awed beyond words......................

  • Speachless. Thank You Celtic Woman.

  • @wordyeaux ironic, i'm from America and i wholeheartedly agree, though i gotta say, i still love this song! YOU GO CELTIC WOMAN!

  • 9/11 hurt the world. Just happened in the USA. Thank you, everyone that supported us, during such a dark hour. It HURT the world!!

The firemen, policemen, everyone that rushed in that day. They paid with their lives. EVERYONE that ran into, to save. The plane in PN., "Let's roll". My heart is still hurt for the children, that lost parents.

This new world I don't understand. Folks wanting to kill all of us.??

  • Everbody needs to leave right out of this. Just listen to the trice damned music and enjoy. You have that right if nothing else.

  • Oh America, I miss you. You should come back.

  • I just hope you guys take back the freedoms you laid down after 9/11. It wasn't taken from you, it wasn't destroyed by the terrorists, it was given up by you. Patriot act?? Assasination of US citizens?? Damn... You gave it all up in exchange for "security". I think we all know how that goes.

  • I am extremely happy that I get the honor to sing this song in choir. The way their voices all come together in this video: beautiful. I feel honored that my friends and I get the privilege to sing this song to my church.

  • Well, we do have some friends out there ... Thank God!

  • Am I the only one who tears up listening to this beautiful lullaby?

  • @Gizmologist09 Not at all. I can NOT listen to this without tears rolling down my face...and I LOVE it.

  • No matter how horrible our economy is, how low or high our stalk market it, whether we're under attack on our soul, or finally free from war, I'm proud to be an American. <3

  • @whydontwejustdance07 Really? How the f- can you be that?

  • @whydontwejustdance07 Economy.. stalk market.. ? Doesn't the fact that your country is killing and terrorizing hundreds of innocent women and children in other countries bother you?

  • This is simply moving, very inspirational - Thank You.

  • I'm not an American, but the way they sang is really beautiful

  • And 95% in pews will be in hell. Harsh? NO! True! Most in church pews are perishing. They dont KNOW THE LORD! GOD is NOT politicly correct! GOD is a Fundy! Heaven is full of fundies, not liberals. Jesus is GOD - and what GOD called SIN is STILL SIN. You can argue with GOD - but you will LOSE! Hell is real! Once there, there is NO HOPE of escape! REPENT! RETURN! DONT BURN!

  • @TheShepherd777 Praise God He has more mercy than you do.

  • @TheShepherd777 Oh, well we don't have any Ba'al worshopers now so I guess you can say 100% will be in your corner of hell. But worship whoever you want I don't care. Just try to keep taking the meds.

  • God help us all .. the land has utterly left the one true GOD

  • @TheShepherd777 Not saying you aren't perfect and know every thought of the creator, but churches around me are full every Sunday.

  • Beautiful words of comfort from the land of my ancestry. Thank you Ireland and Celtic Women

  • I haven't been able to stop listening to this song for three days... thank you to the performers for giving us this, it's helped so much as the anniversary approaches and it's made me even more proud to be American and Celtic.

  • On this day, one can't help but remember how terrible the tragedy we faced ten years ago. Thankfully though God created a good group of girls who used their beautiful voices to create a relaxing and inspiring experience to listen too. Thank you Celtic Woman for all you've done for us!

  • Bless you for these words of comfort to us which have been coming to us from you since the Isle of Hope tour across America! It is no wonder that you're so beloved in America, and always will be.

  • To all the wonderful Celtic Woman performers and crews: America would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the expression of compassion and hope you share with this beautiful song. It helps the healing process and although we will forever have a terrible scar, the pain is lessened just a little.

    Thank you.

  • @Gizmologist09...Thank you for your kind words...Our countries have a long history together...It was the U.S. that took in our people when they fled Ireland. It was the U.S. that was one of the first to recognize Ireland as a free nation after we gained our independence... We and all Ireland are greatful for the U.S. We all hope our relationship lasts for many many years to come...

  • @tomcat624u...Tá brón orm a rá é, ach go bhfuil ceann de na memarks is ciníocha Tá sé cloiste agam le fada ... Is rud maith nach bhfuil an chuid is mó de na daoine sna Stáit Aontaithe nó go mbraitheann slí gníomh ...

  • @tomcat624u LOVE for all people all over the world, NO MATTER who they are, what they think, how they look. Stop hating and start LOVING! PEACE FOR ALL HUMAN BEINGS AND ANIMALS, PEACE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SUFFER, PEACE FOR ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE TO SUFFER BECAUSE OF RACISM: PEACE AND LOVE FOR ALL RACISTS so they maybe will be able to accept the highest beautifulness in every human being all over the world- no matter which colour of skin they have. We are all ONE! <3

  • I love their poise and grace. The sweet words are like a balm to hurting Americans on this day. I am very proud of these ladies as we reflect on 11 Sept 2011. We look forward to THAT DAY when all hurts are gone and HE will reign forever. Erie go braugh

  • Led this a church today. Will also lead it for the finale of our 10th anniversary conert next Friday night. An awesome song; privileged to sing it.

  • I AM A VIRGIN

  • . I love this song :)

    We must not forget 911.

  • R.I.P. to all who died on 09/11/2001.

  • this song is very perfect for victims from 9/ 11

i hope in this World is Peace more than just hope and power

    GOD BLESS AMERICA

GOD BLESS THE HOLE WORLD whithout Al Quaida

  • I love this song. I love my country, even for all its flaws. So nice to hear something like this, overcoming the (often) unjustified hate for the US.

  • Outstanding!!!!

  • We are told so often that everybody in the world despises us. Thank you Celtic Women!

  • THANK YOU TO ALL THE COUNTRIES AND PEOPLE WHO STILL LOVE THE UNITED STATES !!!

  • an irish gift to ther world !!! thank you ireland !!!

  • We're still the best hope for mankind.

  • @anthonydoyle18 Yuck. Take your politics elsewhere. :/

  • My show choir is singing this for 9/11. I get goosebumps every time I hear this. If only I could sing as beautifully as them.

  • This song is incredible. lyrics, vocals, instruments. Stunning, simply stunning.

  • I miss Orla and Meav. Alex and Lynn are good, but they're just not part of the original Celtic Woman.

  • you guys did amazing. My chorus teacher is having us sing this song so she let us hear you guys sing it. Too bad its not one of the selection songs for all southwest

  • Kippenvel van dit mooie lied!

  • I love them all, their music and beauty is enchanting. My friends ask me if i was Irish in a former life, since i am a black man who loves the Irish and this music, it invigorates me to listen to them, thanks for the joy my dear ladies and your musicians are superb. be blessed. CVS

  • There are a great many things wrong with America, but it still remains to this day a sanctuary for anyone seeking succor from their former lives. Deep down in my heart I am proud to call myself an American. To know that we stand as a beacon of hope for people in other countries. however i am still waiting for the day when "...and liberty and justice for all..." Actually means something.

  • I guess you don't think God's watching you. O but He is!

  • calling us to the unemployment lines, no health care, take away the social security we all HAVE to pay into & the medicare we HAVE to pay into, can anyone opt out. Yet the Republicans here want to stop it. America is calling us to what, that's what I want to know.

  • @MTM60302 Calling you to take your political hatefest to where it's appreciated. This is a beautiful music video.

Go have a cup of tea.

  • @MTM60302 ------I hope you can find joy again. Examine the rest of the world & be thankful for what WE have. The Democrats are every bit as much to blame as the Republicans, but to start this on a thread that should be about joy brings many people down, other than yourself. Let us take a break from our everyday lives & listen to beautiful music sung by beautiful ladies & accompanied by the finest musicians to be found. I celebrate being an American & I celebrate Celtic Woman.

  • Nice to hear someone sing positively about the USA. I'm proud of the USA even with its faults and am blessed to live here. Thank you Ireland, you are a beautiful country with beautiful people and God bless.

  • I love Lisa, she´s so hot. But she sings like a thousand angels.

  • Chloe is so damn pretty

  • classic song they are trulty grateful for the american people, a great nation, agreat people, im irish but hell i wish i was american, land of the free and have been there and would love to go back and live, obama give us the card to stay.

  • please follow @ChloeAgnew on twitter :)

  • Brought tears to my eyes. I wish my wife and Dad were still here to see this.

  • beautiful music, voices and women. thank you very much for singing about this great nation that we have

  • This song reminds me how proud I am to be an American. God Bless the U.S.A!!! <3

  • @RosieEbony why the hell are all american people belivin in a so called "god" ??? sry for asking this but the humanity dont need those things to exist

  • @killsyou4sure yeah we belivin , just answer my Questions ...

where the sky come from , where the planets come from , where the sea come from , where our earth come from , where the animal come from and where the hell you come from and made ya !!!!

  • @killsyou4sure first off, don't generalize American society like that. Because there are plenty of people that don't believe in God that reside in the US. in fact, i have close friends who don't practice any religion. it's pretty rude how you phrased that. second, you seem to be saying it like it's a bad thing to believe in God. Just because other people have faith in something, doesn't mean you can bash on them.

  • @RosieEbony CELTIC MEANS THE UK HAHAHAHA DO SOME RESEARCH HAHAHA

  • @tomcat624u Yes, please research that! Ireland is also a Celtic country. The Celts have been spread all over Europe at one time or another.

  • @TripBoomLikeThat MY FAMILY CAME FROM WALES MANY,MANY YEARS AGO. WE ARE CELTIC...AND WHITE PEOPLE CAN ONLY BE CELTIC, AFRICANS NOR OTHER NON WHITES CAN BE CELTIC, ONLY WHITES. GET UR FACTS RIGHT.

  • @tomcat624u Ignorance is not going to help you in life. Ireland is only about 1% black, and it is certainly Celtic.

But I do see what world you are living in.

  • @TripBoomLikeThat pizz off fker

  • @tomcat624u I think you can say those words in Youtube ... of course you have to know how to spell them.

  • @tomcat624u That's like saying germans can be latino.....

  • @RosieEbony

Thank you and God Bless ALL of the Military fighting for our freedoms we enjoy today.

  • @oledoc65 So if they weren't in Iraq or Afghanistan you would be less free? Wake up Bin Ladens dead the war is won time to come home. Seriously I can't understand your logic.

  • @Spentastic Hear, hear. And if you really want to 'fight for freedoms' then join civil liberty campaign groups.

  • Hmm? Suddenly, i...just can't stop waving this flag. WATCH YOUR HEAD!!!

  • God bless America.

  • Such a grandiose rendition! I am touched. I hope that the group will perform in our country so as to inspire love for God, peace and nationalism. Kudos to a great performance. I have actually watched one of the greatest performances of a lifetime. God bless you Celtic Women!

  • beautiful song i'm from mostly irish decent and my mom's side of the family the Ardes or ardee were royalty or something like that because there is a town named after them in Ireland, i wish i knew more of my heritage

  • Oops sorry wrong video.

  • What happened? They seemed so nervous.

  • As an American of Scottish/Irish stock it makes me feel proud of my country and of my ancestral homeland back in Europe.

  • I'm mixed with irish and black, but every single time i listen to music like this i feel like the irish part of me is trying to go back home, to ireland. No feeling can describe how happy i am to find music like this again. Thank you so much for putting these vids up. I am truly grateful. It's like being given back another piece of my homeland.

  • @hooleyqueen i just wanted to say your welcome for the freedom to post such a comment. it makes me feel great that my brothers and sisters -in-arms are giving their lives for people like you. you see i'm deployed to the middle east right now, doing my part to protect that freedom. the governmet is messed up. i feel that this song is more about the spirit of good americans who appreciate what they have and are willing to fight for it. i dont need anyones sympathy. i know what i signed up for.

  • @1987quadracer From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remembered- We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother

I will stand by you my brother and fight if nothing else than for each other.

  • @1987quadracer Thank you for your service to our country. I know you boys don't ask for it, but you deserve it! There are people praying for all of you.

  • @hooleyqueen and how would you feel if your son or daughter was killed by an I.E.D your comment is full of malice and hate for what? you have the right to say what you like and make an ass out of yourself maybe you should stop at a rehab center for wounded soldiers. They answered the call when there country asked them to fight for there country regardless of who they might feel politically. They are willing to die for you a complete stranger that calls them barbarians and baby killers would you?

  • @hooleyqueen I wanted to also say you are welcome. My husband is putting his life on the line for you. He leaves our kids and myself for months at times. And we never know when e is coming back. Just so pathetic people like you can comment stupid stuff like that,

  • @dadslilgrl93 Maybe he should watch the wonderful videos on your homepage! Decent people appreciate your husband's service and you family's sacrifice. All the best to you.

  • @IntoTheMystical Thank-you so much! We are very proud of everything he does for this country. I appreciate the support and kind words. God Bless!

  • @hooleyqueen What a pathetic little person you must be. The United States military doesn't need your permission or support. If you are so angry please put on the enemies uniform and challange us. I am sure we will be able to send you to your God. If not just go about your way and we will continue to fight for freedom around the world. But, please if you feel so strongly please get out from behind that computer and come challenge the greatest fighting force ever assembled on this planet.

  • @hooleyqueen The only thing I can say is that I feel sorry for u, & just the thought that so many of my family who have fought for this country fought for people like u 2 give u the freedom 2 make horrific comments like this makes me sick. Do u even realize what our soldiers go threw just so we can sit at our computers & watch wonderful music like this? Maybe u should go 2 the places our troops go & c how diffrent life is there. Then maybe u'd appreciate our military alittle more. SHAME ON U!

  • This makes me proud to call myself an Irish American

  • Danke für dieses Lied!

  • Bravo! God Bless America!

  • This is America! Not government, not politics, not business. But the spirit of the people.

  • follow Chloe Agnew on Twitter @ChloeAgnew plzzzzzzzzzz!!! thanks xxxxxxx

  • Happy Fourth of July to all!

  • Thank you for this song! I feel the same for my country (Germany).

  • no matter what we face, whether it be a war, economic hardships, no matter whether we be republican or democrat, christian, jewish, or muslim we are all Americans and will always be true to our mother country

  • @FGOTUS12

Preach it! We all need reminding of that fact :)

  • Look in 1:03 and 2:02 She got Big mothery boobs. and She is Beautiful. nice voice too

  • I love their dresses! And this song is so beautiful no matter who sings it!! Whether they're Celtic, American, or any other nationality it will always be beautiful!!

  • Its not that it's America, its the concept of America and what it represents. A new beginning, a bright future.

  • i just want want to say as an american we're greatful to these beautiful women for sharing their gift with us. they're not just singing, they're telling us a story, and they're taking us on the journey with them. you feel their music deep in your very soul, like you're actually right there with them. i have great admiration for the irish people, and i feel blessed that this music they create has flown over the seas to our door.

  • Comment removed

  • No offense but its Celtic music America shouldn't have a song. An I'm an American saying that. But I will admit it is a lovely song.

  • @LordHannigan An American wrote the music, an Irish man put the words to it. Didn't know there was a rule book on who could and couldn't 'have' a Celtic music style influenced song. Rock n Roll is from America, yet it has influenced people from every corner of the world...so what if Celtic music does the same. Its the style of music that originates from this part of the world..we don't own it. Oh yeah and I'm Irish.

  • @kingboru2 Oh good for you I still disagree so you wasted time that you can't get back.

  • @LordHannigan

We're all human, I do not think the topic matters. Saying that that any artist should not right a song about another country is just downright foolish. This song is more about freedom and patriotism, just because its set in the context of America does not mean anything.
