I'm a soldier here now... were in the middle of rotation now. It's hard work and we try to give the best training possible, even we as the soldiers being OpFor have to learn the native language of the towns and people we are depicting to make it more realistic.

Huh no it's not impressive.

I was in the Army and was sent there for 2 weeks every month. That town sucks...and no it's no impressive training. Fort Irwin sucks!

its alright, its hot. and little sleep. mortar strikes during the night and attacks.(if your not a POG)its like a worst case scenario the whole time your there

theres a good documentary about this place. People say the first few days they act like "nah its just roleplay" but then its so real they react to it emotionally and it becomes real to them
