Turn off shadows, resulotion 800x600. tweek down the Texture filter or the Anti aliasing.

Well I have AMD Turion RM-74 2.2GHz and it´s playlable..around 20 FPS on medium/high settings.. so it´s not necessary to have C2D...

what do you mean my gta is playing great ok heres the catch i have gta iv 1.4 with an nvidia 1gb 9600m graphic card but i have a REALLY bad processor only 2mhz and its so slow to load the city and it affects the graphics alot so im running it with medium texture medium water no shadows low view and detail distance 10 cars 0 shadow density very high texture filtering medium reflections and 1650x1024 screen resolution it plays good my pc is a laptop its an asus n50 v its very good for laptop

I playing on my notebook with this same video card waht you have, i have cpu 2.26GHZ C2D and this game i have instaled on my second HDD and I don't have 25fps!!!

Well, on the lowest settings it's lagging too, but it's playable.

Unfortunetly this game isn't for notebooks.

@kenderendre at least he or she can see every detail unlike me where :( I have 128mb of ram and get about 20 fps and I don't see half of the Textures (I see blue skys and niko that it)
