Tip, if you dont want to buy a special screwdriver, then what you can do is melt the tip of a pen with a lighter and press it against one of the screws. When the plastic cools it molds around the screw.

@theimporter I don't think so with 2 controllers i know it works ok, i think that with 4 controllers the n64 don't have power enough.

how do i do this to a 3rd party one? the one i have was in bad condition some kid practically destroyed it so i moded it a bit, added some shapes to its and used epoxy puddy to change the lines on it. so now that i've changed how it looked i thought doing the battery mod was the next step before i paint it.
