  • Safe first.... I ended up catching 30 that day and thats way I fish some times. I was on top of them but Im not crushing the fish Im just claming them down. As you can see Im standing on one foot next year I will just edit this part out or try to get the shots with better form best of luck to you,,, :/

  • Think about the time you wasted walking a 25" bass back to shore, dragging the fish over the rocks only to step on it for a ham handed release! Very poor form, champ.

If you had nipped the barb(s) on your lure, stayed put and lipped the fish you could have employed a quick release and been right on top of those breaking fish behind you in no time.

Safety first for you? You were fishing for schoolie bass not makos. Right?

  • I'm glad you used the first generation masters

  • ya, i have had one tooo many hooks in the hand and its just a light; stop flopping around step. i'm 9 miles from my car as well. safty for me first!

  • That was a great video until you stepped on the fish. There is no need for that, a simple thumb in the mouth and forefinger on the bottom jaw will easily subdue even the biggest striper.
