  • Marciano has to be the hardest hitter pound for pound ever in the sport. He wasn't even a heavy weight. 185 lbs. Amazing.

  • marciano best off all time

  • You can see Jersey Joe is dazed when he gets up, He just ducked into a Marciano uppercut . That's all.

  • Rocky marciano was an amazing fighter!!!! R.I.P champ :)

  • @loyaldude10 he hit him with a left in the first fight folo'd by a right when he was about to go. Jersey joe was one of the all time greats with archie moore and sonny liston

  • Referee was very fast with the count

  • This sucks. Looks like ballroom dancing.

  • Tyson was made by modern fitness and boxing, marciano was all natural, sure will be not fast as tyson, were talking about different ages in boxing!

  • Watch at 1:07 Rocky headbutts joe in the chin

  • WoW!!! So many comments about past and present fighters against the Great Rocky! You have to remember Rocky up his game for every opponent. But I do think a good big 6.2" + fighter with a jabb and movement would of prevail. A disciplined Tyson with Kevin Rooney and jim Jacobs in the back ground???? A young Joe Louis with no financial problems???? Lennox Lewis with manny steward???? Larry holmes????

By the way I would like to thank all the posters for keeping this wall RACIAL clean. As they sa

  • marciano had great leverage in his punches

  • "Marciano's knockout blow packs more explosive energy than an armour-piercing bullet and represents as much energy as would be required to spot lift 1000 pounds one foot off the ground

wonder what tysons, lewis and others is.

  • every sport improves... marciano would be no match for modern champs like tyson, lewis, klitschko

    they would play with him

  • @bimmer666 is clueless.

  • In this highlight i must say, it looks really strange. Walcott doesnt seams intrested to fight. And he really looks like he is wating for the count to reach 10..

  • tyson would of beat the shit out of marciano until they stopped the fight.

  • He would have eaten Tyson up and spit him out

  • @MrThechadize I actually think that Marciano had the pefrect style for Tyson, and i think he would have been stoped in the middle rounds..

  • does joe take a dive here? looks like he just sits there until 10 and quickly gets up. this looks erily familiar to the tyson/etienne fight in 2003. in both cases, it's a legitmate punch, but clearly the opponents are CHOOSING to stay down. anybody with me on this?

  • ima8gine geting hit with that right hand.

  • After seeing some of rocky's fights. Marciano is an smart, explosive and ackward fighter with an iron chin. Any fighter couldn't see his punch! lol!

Tyson has a high probably to beat Rocky on early rounds but after 3 or 5rounds, if rocky survive which I think he will. Rocky Marciano will be the beast. I believe marciano will win by KO over Tyson. IMO

Man, I'm beginning to think Rocky Marciano is unbeatable in any era except the klitschkos. hehehe. Just me.

    Great vids!

  • @MyAragorn

great name but the Klitschko joke was great xDDD

as a german i get overexposure to those brothers.

  • what size gloves do they wear because they look really small

  • Iron Chin - great Power in Both Hands - Graat Stamina - Great Heart

a real warrior in the Ring !!!

  • Iron Chin - Great Power in Both Hands - Great Stamina - Great Fighter Heart

never Lost !!! He is The Real Undisputet Champion ever Great Champ ever in the History of Boxing

  • stfu you dont know anyting about mike tyson he bited the ear becouse holt headbutted him more then 3 times .__.

  • does anyone else find it shady that he didnt get up sooner but made it seem like he was waiting for the 10 count to get up... i dont kno but obviously boxers didnt get paid like they do now and im sure throwing fights for a high payday was a common concept arnd that time. i wouldnt be surprised if jersey joe threw this fight on purpose

  • @projectpaki

I love Marciano but I totally agree with you. That film (the first I've seen of it) looked terrible to me. "Say it ain't so Joe!"

  • Marciano vs tyson? Marciano for this reason: rocky had the endurance to last past the first 3 rounds into the late rounds. This would have frustrated tyson. And when tyson was ever frustrated, he became a big child in the ring, the ear-munching being the prime example of how tyson reacted to equal or superior opponents. This would be tysons downfall. I predict marciano by either late rounds KO or late rounds DQ.

  • @Crowwolf7

Rocky Marciano may have been great in his era, but he was definitely not a boxer on Tyson's level.

Both fighters pit against each other in their prime, Tyson would DESTROY Marciano.

Tyson has superior power and speed, not to mention a more advanced, evolved boxing technique. It would be IRON vs wood.

  • @mrusername

superior power, right; that must be why he almost killed vingo in 5 rounds, and chipped bones in his opponents elbows and ruptured blood vessels on their forearms that had to be surgically repaired more than once.

ali himself said when they were rcording the computer fight he could't belive how hard marciano could hit even at the age of 45, long after having stopped boxing, and couldn't imagine what his Suzy Q must have felt like back in his prime.

  • He wouldn't kill him but he certainly holds many advantages. I don't know how you could not favor Tyson.

  • yea you are but i would love to see that fight two of the best HW of all times

  • It would be explosive why it lasted, no doubt.

  • @rashawn199 lol funny, rocky is the only undefeated boxer to retire. Tyson and Marciano would be a pretty good fight but Marciano would have Tyson

  • @TheRepeate tyson hit way to hard for rocky .rocky was good but tyson was the best

  • @rashawn199 Tyson hit way too hard for rocky.....?

marciano had one of the greatest chins in heavyweight history he had the most devasting right hand in the history of the sport, go figure.

everyone here type in "ALI ABOUT MARCIANO" & "MIKE TYSON TALKS ABOUT THE OLD HEAVYWEIGHTS".......right here on youtube.

  • @shotgunshawzy yes like i said tyson hit way to hard i don't care how good his chin was if tyson hit rocky on the chin it's lights out

  • @rashawn199 i agree rocky was great but tyson would have put rocky to sleep

  • @shotgunshawzy ive watched both of them and i tell you, id give marciano a shot at anyone. he had the heart, the will, the chin, the punch and well more than enough stamina to give anyone hell and everyone should take into consideration that he did more physical damage to the guys he's faught than any other heavyweight so he cant be disregarded!

  • @rashawn199

to quote the self proclamied greatest: Ali was often quoted as saying that he couldn't believe how strong, and how hard Rocky could hit. He said he could feel how great Marciano must have been just from being in the ring with him when he was 45 while filming the computer fight. Ali said that he couldn't even imagine what Rocky must have been like in his prime. Marciano also spoke highly of Ali as well.

he nearly killed vingo in 5 rounds, while ali toyed with wepner 15 rounds.

  • @rashawn199 I agree Mike Tyson would have killed him

  • @rashawn199 marciano vs tyson would have been a good fight but when it all comes down to it marciano would have came out victorius not tyson!

  • @TheGhostSniperXx RIDICULOUS,Marciano was a light heavyweight, Tyson was 220 in his prime, he would be too strong for him, too fast and too resilient, as well as speed, power and ultra confidence, mike had a great chin.

  • @gregm20072007 name me 2 in prime HFers who tyson beat.. oh yea theres only one spinks and even he was on his way out late 30 year old fighter, hand picked why did tyson never fight foreman bowe or morrison sure the morrison fight was signed but when... after he came out of prison and was fighting for money. tyson had some ok KO's but they were against bums who wanted another payday.

  • @MrLukedanger Lots of mikes conquests have been underrated, Tony tucker, he was 35-0 when he faced tyson and in his prime, he went 12 with lewis in 93, destroyed douglas and fought many other decent fighters. Jose ribalta in 86 wasn't no joke. Also pinklon thomas, who tyson destroyed btw, had never been knocked out, larry holmes, who people say was finished in 88 after losing two questionable decisons, and who despite that however went on the fight a good 15 more fights...

  • @MrLukedanger Do you really think that an old foreman would have caused tyson any problems? if you do you might aswell give up now. And riddick bowe? tommy morrison? are you serious? they would have all fallen to tyson, the fact that they never got it on does not mean tyson ducked them, tyson was going to fight foreman but foreman couldn't just jump straight into a title fight at the start of a comeback, jesus. also tyson outpointed a prime ruddock, who was also underrated.

  • @gregm20072007 i rate tubbs as the most in prime fighter tyson faught and won, his best win came over spinks, who was early-mid 30's. the best fighter he beat was a 38 or 39 year old larry holmes who was retired for years, got beat by the 2 good fighters of his era, not to mention danny wiliams, by the way tyson was younger when he got beat by williams than when larry holmes got beat by him, he had potential but never deliverd its like saying if ken norton had a time machine he would be the best

  • @MrLukedanger Tyson fought danny williams on 2004, thats 19 years into his career. Tubbs was way overweight for the tyson fight and definately not the best opponent prime tyson faced. Holyfield was post-prison tyson which is not tyson at his best or anywhere near, and by the lewis fight he was totally shot, ready for the big payday and a whoopin. 1986-88 he was UNSTOPPABLE.

  • @gregm20072007 this 86-88 bullshit is all i hear, he fought no one, he never nocked out tilis or green, along with 3 other bums i forgot the names of in that time, an18-20 year old tyson fights just like floyd patterson slower and with more power, same style to a Tee. george foreman for 6 years was unstoppable beating some of the greatest HW's of all time, tyson was all what if, what if tyson never ducked the best, hed be rated as the good fighter and not the great one people think he is.

  • @MrLukedanger So he went the distance occasionally, so fucking what, you cant expect him to knock every single fighter out, his management would have asked him to extend certain bouts for experience purposes and for those critics who said he may have stamina problems. He fought the best fighters that were around at the time, and rollled over them, he would have done well in any era of boxing, he didn't duck anyone, he didn't pick his own fights, he just fought whoever jimmy and bill arranged.

  • @MrLukedanger Foreman fought bums all through his early career, the first opponent of recognition was frazier, all the others had terrible records, not a single undefeated fighter did he face until frazier. Before his comeback he only fought 3 decent fighters, norton frazier and ali, lost to ali, and was also dropped and defeated by jimmy young. His fighting abilites were not even close to tysons.

  • @gregm20072007 jimmy young, joe frazier ron lyle muhamad ali ken norton, BUMS? Gregorio Peralta was undefeated, rufus brassell had 1 loss when george beat him george chuvalo was 2 loss's when he faught foreman boone kirkman was 1 loss 22 wins 22 KOs gregorio peralta had 10 straight wins when he fought george jose roman had 1 loss in 43 fights when george beat him chuck wepner had 4 loss's against sonny liston ali and 2 other guys. you should go on boxrec before you wright unproven shit on here.

  • @MrLukedanger Peralta was 82-6, NOT undefeated, rufuss brassell was 13-2, 2 losses not 1, chuvalo was 59-15, roman was 43-7, i think your looking at their draw stat and calling it their loss stat, and most of those u mentioned are unknown! who the fuck is rufuss brassell?

  • @gregm20072007 when george met them there stats were as i posted. and no i know the difference between a draw and a loss, most? chuck wepner was the bassis for rocky, faught some of the toughest guys around. rufuss brassell had 1 loss when george and he met. just like who the fuck ws tony tubs razor ruddock tony tucker what the fuck did any of them achieve.

  • @gregm20072007

Um, Foreman knocked out both Frazier and Norton, and was a heavy favorite against Ali. Name one, just one, fighter Tyson fought that was in the class out Frazier, Norton, or Ali?? (Jeopardy music) Let me help you, NONE!!!! Oh, I stand corrected: Holyfield and Lewis, which resulted in two KO defeats for that bum overrated Tyson.

  • @gregm20072007

    Tyson looked unstoppable against bums.

  • @mdmcdd1117 He fought the best fighters around at the time, some of them were impressive fighters its just tyson was so good he made it look easy. Ali would have gone the distance with alot of the fighters tyson knocked out.

  • Thats what i mean, no one can fight Rocky twice, because during the fight, you're scared to death of getting a bomb on you, and when you get one, you wont get up easily. Joe didnt want this fight, the first fight was on his mind whole this one, he was scared of getting KOd like he did the first fight.

Those of you that think im saying that Joe was bad are wrong, he was a great fighter too.

    Great vid.

  • agree,

  • @izzoe3

the story of this fight clinch clinch clinch Bang dead lol

  • @izzoe3 -- Joe Walcott was not scared of Rocky! C'mon--these guys are professionals, and even champions. He was winning 1st fight until Rocky caught him w/ thatpicture perfect r hand. Walcott was aging, and maybe didnt train as hard as he should have, or maybe it was just his time to go.

  • keep up the great quality and classic fight you upload!perfectly put together videos.

  • @KGomezhell Thanks. Check the new fight highlight.

  • Walcotte threw it!!!!!!!

  • Give Yourself An Uppercut

  • Walcott was a tough one for anybody but he just wasn't nearly as together in the rematch.

  • thanks a lot for this clean video buddy we appreciate it sooo much. thanks again. Jersey Joe Walcott was such a great champion, but this second fight I give it to the Champ Rocky Marciano

  • No problem. Jersey Joe was a terrific fighter. The real pioneer of the shuffle... boy talk about a slick defensive fighter. And he can bang too. Had Louis down 3 times and Rocky once, but going for the KO just wasn't his game (Although he caught Charles with a huge shot). Jersey Joe came around a tough time. He's like the black version of the Cinderella Man. Had lots of kids and fought often starving, trying to feed them during the Depression. Rose up and became champion Rocko was dynamite too!

  • Hey dude, this is the clearest, cleanest old film fight footage I have ever seen.

Are you responsible for the clarity? It is absolutely amazing and you see so much MORE !!

  • Hey thanks for the comment. I am but it's actually one of the least best quality at least in terms of Marciano footage I have. I am definitely doing more old classic fight highlights like this.

  • beautiful

  • Thank you.

  • Thanks For Uploading Again,

    5 stars and faved

And yes i know who you are. =P

Come to Australia and we can go to the Jones Jr Fight

  • Cruiser But they will proberly Make Light Heavy, Im Hoping Green does well. Im sorta 50/50, but at the end of the day Ill most likly start Backing Green.
