@ferretluvr1234 I have to disagree. I haven't watched the old series recently, but the new one is very good. Snarf is more of an animal than a 'comedy companion', all the characters are represented, and the themes focus around Lion-O's growth into a hero. I see a lot of the old special abilities & tools. We've just seen Mumm-Ra's transformation scene, and the crazy-ass "coffin-mobile". I think they're doing well in revamping the old series. What don't you like?

For me, there was nothing like getting up at 6 in the morning on a Saturday to watch this show, munching on some cereal...and hiding under the covers from the Rankin-Bass logo after it was over (I used to be scared of the end credits back then). What's funny is that kids today wear shirts with the Thundercats logo on it, thinking it looks all cool and they don't even know anything about what it is they are wearing. I guess fake homage or "ignorant" homage is better than none. I used to work with behavior trouble teenagers and a 15 year old girl saw my AC/DC shirt and said "You don't know anything about them!" (I'm 35) and I just laughed her out of the room. Kids today. Man, I make myself sound old

all those tv shows were animated by a company called Pacific animation studios which had alot of japanese artists that's how come mos of the 80's shows have an anime look to them, but when the studio closed that's when all these great shows kinda stopped, the only one now adays that is reminecent to these shows is Avatar he LAst airbender

Just a bit of trivia, while the hole of Thundercats was written and produced america, the intro was sent to a Japanese animé company, hence the MASSIVE between the animation in the intro and the animation on the actual cartoon.

I have a fierce hatred for today's cartoons! They all seem to be about guts and boogers pouring out of bodies, stupidity, inuuendo, toilet humor and other random idiocy. At least all the classics ranging from Mickey Mouse's Steamboat Willie to the 90s cartoons had action, adventure, witty humor, mystery, thrills and even emotion! I prefer the old days over the indescribably horrible cartoons of today. Death to today's cartoons!
