Honestly, I think that you set the village free because you need something to start from when purifying the other areas... You never go through a cursed area without purifying it before moving on. If you didn't set the village free, the cursed zone would kill you before you could get anywhere else, is what I'm trying to say. Gotta work your way out from the village when purifying the world. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it.

@OmegaMetroid93 It wasn't so much that it didn't make sense as it was that you were over-complexly describing a standard story/game progression. What about in Mario games? In Galaxy and 64, you have to start collecting stars in 1 area, then you can go to further places until the all of them are cleared. This could be applied to a gigantic number of other things. Your statement was superfluous, at best. I didn't attempt to sound vitriolic or malicious, but I guess that's how it came out. =P

I hate susano. I don't care if it's not proper grammar, I hate him so much that I'm not capitalizing his name. Many people think he's so awesome, even though he's always running from the monster. Sure, we can use Power Slash better with him, but he isn't really fighting, he's channeling the power of a god.

I beat the game and it was very complicated.It took me almost 74 or maybe 89 days. Two of the parts I had lots of trouble with was getting the dragon orb in the water dragon and going into the emporors belly. I kind of got lost. And cat walk tower was confusing.

The reason Ammy cut the village free is because letting it remain sealed forever would be pretty much the same as letting it be consumed by the darkness. In addition, with no people to believe in her, Ammy would be utterly powerless and therefore unable to stand up to Orochi. She needs the people as much as they need her, and thus she unsealed the village.

@LunarFoxKeystuga Actually he is pronouncing Amaterasu correctly. He is pronouncing it the way Japanese people would pronounce it. Japan prononunces all their vowels the same way and he was just going based on that. So he was pronouncing it right. Also anyone who watched the full LP would already know Amaterasu is a girl because chugga mentioned it many times in the future. Not trying to be rude at all, I just hate when people say something is wrong when its right.Plus when is chugga ever wrong?

@AnimeOtakuStar When I was new to Okami I couldn't get past that part either :) All I can really tell you is that the more you play it, the easier it becomes to control the brush. Practice makes perfect. Try slashing in a fast, fluid motion, as if it were a sword.
