  • My purpose for using a brightening line is to help with acne scaring and have a over all even skin tone that is glowing. So which brightening line would you remember for me? Shiseido, DiorSnow or Chanel Le Blanc (it was recently launched)?

    Take Care

  • i just started using it but im more concerned on if im using it right. when you do suggest that i apply it. thanks.

  • i have been using white lucent line too except i dun have spot target serum, mask and neck serum... i like it alot, but the eye cream has nothing to do with my dark eye circle which is my most concern..

  • @yayaluluhot are you saying that the eye cream is not helping with your dark circles? or...?

  • @channelesque yep.. it doesn't help my dark circle and my my slightly wrinkle as well..

  • Hey :) I used to have quite a lot of acne and now its all gone but left a darker pigmentation on my face, not tooo obvious but there are definitely some dark spots left from the acne. I've been doing a lot of research and have been debating between a few serums that can help with this. Do you think the shiseido dark spot serum would be good for what I have or do you recommend something else in my case? thanks so much

  • @PurpleIzzBella i would recommend using shiseido white lucent spot targeting serum along with their face mask to get noticeable results and make sure you use it consistently for 2 months + or at least up to 6 weeks...if u want to try different line christian dior's diorsnow line is great one and they have more selection for spot lightening than shiseido WL...i have a review of few of the diorsnow products n will have a full review of entire diorsnow line soon..within next couple of wks

  • @PurpleIzzBella la roche posay's mela-d line is another great brightening/lightening skincare line and they are more affordable than shiseido or dior

  • Your skin looks beautiful!!! I started using the moisturizer couple months ago. I LOVE IT! I'm getting the serum next. I'm really excited to use it

  • Hello, i would like to reduce dark eye circles. is it recommended to get the eye brightening for just the eye or should i get

the one for the face to use on both face and eye? want to buy one product from shiseido white lucent line only. thanks:)

  • @Carineglitz if dark circles are your only concern you should get the eye cream...the serum is to reduce dark spots on your face and may not be suitable for your under eye area

  • @DaaGoldygal i started w/ shiseido the same way=) i tried their makeup 1st n fell in love n then their skincare..i used their pureness (oil free) line when I was a teen n since then tried most of other line of products from shiseido n white lucent line is my fav..i'm currently using shiseido bio-performance advanced super revitalizer brightening formula (whoa long name, i know!lol) as my night cream n so far liking it as much as the white lucent night lotion..u do hav a fav shiseido product?

  • so i bought the massage cream, what do you recommand for me to buy next??

  • @P3RSONALANG3L hello, i would definitely recommend trying she serum since that is the most potent product in this line. the toner/skin softner is another product I recommend; it helps to prepare your skin for serum (as well as other products that's applied after). sorry about the late reply

  • hi, would the cream cover undercircles and red acne spots? I would lie to just buy one product. I have dry skin very white with redness on my cheeks. Please help me. Thanks.

  • @hanounours shiseido white lucent is skin brightening products so they will not cover any discoloration. you would have to use color corrector or concealer to cover. these products will help you reduce the discoloration..help your acne scars go away faster. the most potent product from this line is the serum so i would recommend trying the serum if u want to try one product from them. but to get noticeable results u have to use for 2mnth+ n combo of few products from this line

  • I love the Shisedo White Lucent line but it's so expensive lol, but I keep buying it because I love it so much. I have seen so much difference in my skin since I have been using it. Even though im caucasian I still like how it makes my skin look glowing and healthier and gets rid of my acne scars.

  • Thank you for doing this video. I just featured some of these products in one of my recent hauls. I just got deluxe sample sizes to try out. I was wondering... have you ever tried the Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizer Cream Whitening Formula? I know it's not part of the White Lucent Line, but it's related. Anyways, thank you again for doing this very through review :) xx Lauren

  • @doseofvanity yes i've tried "bio performance advanced super revitalizer brightening formula" sucha long ass name..lol but this is the product ur asking about? cuz u said "whitening formula" but mine says brightening formula on the jar...this one had added antiaging effect of the bio performance line with brightening..it's bit pricer but if anitaging concern is just as important or more so than whitening this is a good product to try..i used this as my night cream

  • @channelesque yes, im pretty sure this was the one! it's SO expensive! $98 -___- but i tried it and loved it! Thanks again for this review x Lauren

  • I was planning on purchasing the white lucient spot targeting serum to lighten the sun spots on my face, just wondering, whether the sun spots come back as soon as I stop using the product?

  • @schistosomiasis3 if u avoid direct exposure2 strong sunlights n use proper sun protection u should b able 2avoid getting sun spots after you've cleared them by using lightening serum but weather sun spots form again or not after using this shiseido or any other similar product, really depends on how u take care of ur skin in terms of spf(uva.uvb) protection. this serum will help lighten already existing sun spots but no product can stop them from forming if ur exposed to the sun regularly..

  • @channelesque thanks for the reply :) do you think spf 30 is enough??

  • @schistosomiasis3 spf 30 during fall, winter, and spring days when sun is out should be enough but for days the sun is really strong esp in summer or warmer climate countries u should use higher than spf 30..i like to either use spf 40-50 during summer or at least combine my spf 30 lotion with primer that also has spf

  • Your skin looks amazing, are you wearing a shiseido foundation? wow amazing glow, you look gorgeous.

  • @nightrider2k6 i'm wearing chanel vita lumier foundation in this vid=) thank u=)

  • Great review, just subbed! HAve you ever tried the Clarins brighting line and if so did it work for you?

  • @SuperIheartmakeup i haven't tried the entire product but i did try clarins brightening cream few times...my friend is using it n she loves it n highly recommends it so i may actually try it out when i'm done with my current (diorsnow line) products=) thx

  • HAve you ever tried the Clarins brighting line and if so did it work for you?

  • Hi there, I started using the Shiseido White lucent line product after Christmas of 2010. I am using the 1) brightening cleansing foam 2) Brightening Balancing softner enriched 3) travel size Spot targeting serum 4) brightening moisturizing cream (in this order). I have not seen any results yet. Am I missing something, or should I just give it a few more months? Please let me know. Thank You much...

  • @sweetdevil08 areu using spf during the day? it's really important to use spf 30+ during the day while you use this system, without it ur not going to see results cuz whatever treatment that this set does the sun is going to counteract it. also, it really depends on ur skin type whether u will c results or not, this is to treat n prevent sun/age spots and discolored skin. also, adding on the face mask is really effective=)

  • @channelesque I think my skin is slightly darker than yours, not sure whether to go with the white lucent or the benefiance toner, i used the benefiance toner and liked it a lot but now that i finished my first bottle, thinking about going with the white lucent because I heard the benefiance is marketed for older people 50+ yrs old? So if a young person uses it, it might be bad in the long run, what do you think? I don't have any sun/age spots either so not sure which toner fits me.

  • @nightrider2k6 it's not necessarily BAD for u to use benefiance toner but more so that it may not be well suited 4ur skin. using anti-aging skincare b4 actually needing it may make ur skin become tolerant to the ingredients n when the time comes when u actually need those type of ingredients it may be not as effective cuz ur skin is already used to it but i'm talking about intensive anit aging ingredients like retinol..i don't c much harm in using benefiance toner at any age if u like it

  • @nightrider2k6 if ur too young to be using the benefiance softner but don't necessarily need the benefits of white lucent line softner either, you can try the skincare hydro nourishing or hydro balancing softner from shiseido or try their pureness line softner if u have acne prone skin and is in your teen or early 20s ...i hope my answers help=)

  • when using this line in the morning, can i go straight to putting on my makeup?

  • @riversiderhl yes..with white lucent protective moisturizer i would actually recommend skipping foundation primer and using makeup...but do wear stronger spf on top of moisturizer if it's going to be sunny outside or at the least wear foundation with higher than spf 15+ n also remember to give it few mins for the products get absorbed into your skin b4 applying makeup=)

  • "when I was 21..." lol when was that? a minute ago? You look soo frickin' YOUNG & you have SUCH beautiful skin :)

  • @JadeForMercury aw..thank u=)

  • you have a messy background!! But thanks for the awesome review! ^^

  • thanks so much for the great through review! I've been using the shiseido blue acne line for some 3-4 years and I love it ^^. While I still use the blue cleanser, I've switched to the white normal line for lotion and I've been thinking of trying the white lucent cleanser. After your review I'm pretty sure I'm going to try it once my current bottle is done :)

  • Do you use the White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Emulsion for daytime? it seems like its meant to be used for nighttime :( I have the same skintype as you..normal/combi...is there any other daytime or nighttime moisturizers you recommend that you love that sinks into your skin and looks great under foundation (for day time)? Thanks so much!

  • @MsJamie19 the white lucent brightening moisturizing emulsion is for night time, the white lucent brightening protective emulsion is for daytime; i actually do mention this in the vid=)

i like lancome benefait multi vital w/spf 30 lotion for day time=)

i also like perricone md more than moisture spf 30 for day time but this one smells kinda bad..lol

  • what sheideo products do u recommened for acne scaring and for acne clearing.. or even u can tell me drugstore ones please help me

  • @20ernestine white lucent line products can be used for lessening acne scaring but if you still have acne i would definitely recommend treating your acne b4 treating old acne scars..it's possible to treat both at same time but just won't be as effective as getting rid of acne first n then moving on to getting rid of scars..for myself i saw a dermatologist n he put me on accutane to rid acne n then 6mnth later i did 6 rounds of microdermabrasion n chemical peels to rid the scars

  • @20ernestine but seeing a dr n getting microdermabrasion/chemical peels r pretty drastic so if ur looking 4 less invasive ways to treat acne at home i would suggest tryin drugstore acne products w/ salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, n sulfer: these 3 top 3 ingredients 4 acne n 1 of these r bound to work 4u so try diff products w. these stuff n figure out which one works 4u n stick w/the one that works..also find a gentle exfoliant product which will help prevent future breakouts.

  • @20ernestine there's only so much i can recommend here not knowing ur skin cond etc.. so if u want more detailed suggestions n recommendations please email me=)

  • thanks for the video! This is a little off topic but I was wondering if you've tried any products from the Christian DiorSnow line? I've been giong back and forth trying to figure out if I want to try the Shiseido White Lucent line or if I want to try products from the DiorSnow line.

My main concern is trying to even out my skin tone because I have old acne scars, dark spots and redness. thanks!

  • @1sweetxhunny i've used diorsnow eye treatment n daytime emulsion n i'm currently using dior snow d-na night serum n diorsnow white reveal cream.. diorsnow eye treatment is great..i've re-bought it twice n very happy w/ results, it doesn't have instant brightening effect as shiseido white lucent eye treatment or daytime lotion tho.. i use diorsnow d-na night serum at night n use shiseido WL serum for daytime..diorsnow d-na is more intensive..if i had to choose one i'd go w/ diorsnow d-na

  • @1sweetxhunny both shiseido WL n Diorsnow WR r great lines to even out skintone but it really depends on your skin which one would be better suited...they both worked out great for me n i actually like combining the two lines=)

  • @hellokittilove it really depends what kind of result ur looking for..using the balancing softner alone will just help balance the PH of ur skin n in turn even out ur skin type n help ur serum n or lotion work better but if u want ur skin tone to even out n get clearer n brighter skin u will have to implement a skin brightening serum (it doesn't have to be shiseido) at the least..shiseido WL serum takes about 3 wks 2c brightening results...lemme kno if u need product suggestions as i tried a lot

  • ok so you rinse your face with the cleanser first, then put the softner or toner, then the serum, then the mositurizer gel if for oily skin.

    right

  • @Vietnamemperor12346 if ur wearing makeup (esp eye makeup) i suggest u use makeup remover first n then the shiseido WL cleaner to rinse n then for extremely oily skin use toner (toner is not avail evrywhere) or balancing softner n then protective emulsion for daytime..the moisturizing gel for oily skin is only for night time, it has no spf.. protective emulsion is for both oily n normal/combo skin types during daytime:)

  • I really like your makeup in this video!!!

  • ive been wanting to try this line out! btw you look so pretty : )

  • Thanks for this great review!

  • Great Great GREAT REVIEW!!! Thank you soo much. You never disappoint. Can't wait for more videos!

  • thank you for the review!!! i think im gonna try this line after im done with the pure line. Merry Christmas eve!

  • Thank you for this review! Ive been contemplating on this skin care line for a while.. as im finishing up my old line. I think the only thing holding me back is the price lol..

  • One question on the massage cream - do you do that every night? thanks =)

  • One question on the massage cream - do you do that every night? thanks =)

  • @judes106 u can use the massage cream every night to give a daily massage which would be very beneficial but i'm often too tired to do that every night so i try to do it whenever i can (usually couple of times a week at the least)

  • Great review!! I've always found your reviews to be very helpful - thanks =)

Btw, love your eyemakeup! Will you consider putting what you're wearing in the info bar? xx

  • @judes106 i'll try to add what i'm wearing in the info bar from now on=)

  • @channelesque thanks! =)

  • Forgot to ask, what nail color are you wearing? Happy Holidays!~

  • @momsmakeupstash i'm wearing OPI ski teal we drop

    thank u & happy holiday 2u2=)

  • You look radiant in this video Lisa! Another great review. Keep'um coming!

  • you look gorgeous in this video!

  • i wanted to try some of these but they're so expensive!

  • @glamoroushearts trying the entire line can be pretty pricey:( i would suggest trying out the trial size set first n/or perhaps just the daytime moisturizer (i believe it's $55-60usd depending on where u buy)

  • you look so much younger and prettier...

  • do u know a good product to fade sun spots?

  • @sindylicious the serum i showed in this vid is good for fading sun spots too especially if u use it along w/ the moisturizer n the intensive masks=) i also like brightening serums from la roch posay and vichy for fading spots=)

  • ohhh, Just in time, I just bought this and started using it today. I really wish these'll work on me.

  • @Thersch if ur using the protective emulsion and/or the eye treatment u will see immediate illuminating look on ur skin while u have the product on ur skin but as for long term effect of actually evening out ur skin tone or fading spots u'll have to use combo of serum+emulsion (mask+serum+emulsion) for few months or at least use one of the product for few months to see noticeable effect; just be diligent n patient=) hope it works 4u!
