it was a bit of a bad angle to jump at you should have came more round the corner & looked where you were going & maybe the horse could have corrected its striding etc & not refused?...
you do know its dangerous to do that as if they get water in their ear they can get head trauma which may lead your horse to be put down :/ no crit just a bit of info thw rest of your videos are awsome

the ride doesn't have a good positon in saddle, and he is moving too much, also he should keep his hand more still.
next time when he's trying to jump he has too wait for the horse to do the first move (raise his legs into jumping position) and feel the movement of the saddle underneath him (because you have to folow the saddle position).

@waleediii It's dangerous when the water comes in her ears. There is the thingy what holds the balance of the horse, when there comes water on it, the horse would fall because they didn't had any balance anymore :)
@Buddy4life01 no, you're not supposed to, you can put it directly into their mouths on a light flow of water but never spray it directly onto their face, they HATE it and they can get head trauma if it goes into their ears which could cause it to be put down.
@Buddy4life01 with most horses they wont like it, so if you want to wash your horses head put your finger over the nozzle so it acts as like a mist. There are some video's if you don't get what I mean, other wise go the old fashioned way with a sponge :)

well consideringthe direction he was coming from, the horse was actually on the right lead, my advise for him was to just stop pumping so much with his upper body.
I don't think he was driving toward the jump but really pushing the horse over it, maybe this horse is known for refusing this style of jump you can take control between jumps then ask for the horse to give a little more a few strides before the jump to hopefully get a guarantee that he/she will go over. Who the hell on here knows excluding the rider so what youtubehorse nazi has the right to judge.

@Kralisticat4 allround saddles can be pretty comfy to jump in, I've only jumped with those saddles, the riding school doesn't afford anything else, and if you're not competing regulary in showjumping then what's the need for a real jump saddle, then an allround saddle will fit perfect 3 in 1 so to speak ^^,

I'd love to tell you im not a backyard rider i have been riding for near enough mt whole life competitng in speed stakes and BSJA's since very young so a backyard rider you may think i am carry on thinking that.. the horse could of easily jumped from where he was but he decided not to so excuse me but i know what i was on about.

Racing horses, showjumpers, horses generally being tired, horses in general eing tied up and groomed.. ears flat back. So your telling me they hate their jobs? She looks like she just didn't feel like it xD And I spray my horse in the face all the time, because he enjoys it, if anyone could see she wasn't pulling away and she was actually /facing/ the hose, she could have turned her head the other way but she obviously enjoys that. And you ride well, just try to keep your leg at the girth instead of in front :)

@HorseGurlForever1 sadly this is the horse world, full of bitches and horribly spoilt brats who think that because they have their own horse they know everything. Even me who's been riding 15 years (never owned my own horse- not enough money) would not claim to know everthing. I don't think this guy did anything hugely wrong- at the end of the day a horse is capable of thin

no offence but the horse had enough strides to jump that fence, easily.. it wasnt really the riders fault tbh, but the picture was abit, silly? oh well, thats what some people are like though innit, my horse is pretrified of buckets and hoses anyway

OMFG.
you tried to blame the horse for running at the jump. it was ALL YOUR FAULT and you didnt give it anywhere to jump from and kicked as hard as u could several strides away from it.

If your on about the guy in the video he wasnt kicking the horse he was easing the horse on the horse went to jump and the rider was in perfect time with the horse untill the horse decided to refuse and he was still going towards the jump (the rider) and fell of simple!

I'd love to tell you im not a backyard rider i have been riding for near enough mt whole life competitng in speed stakes and BSJA's since very young so a backyard rider you may think i am carry on thinking that.. the horse could of easily jumped from where he was but he decided not to so excuse me but i know what i was on about.

I'm not sure what exactly you are on about. The more you fall off the more experiance you have, that is not me riding the horse and i do not use a dressage saddle so i dont know what you are on! i dont even know the person riding so if i was you get your act together and stop assuming, And yes i have been riding basically all my life i was brough up in a family of riders, So if i were you you pathetic idiot get your facts right! Yeah? Yeah thought so :)

his position could be better, ill agree with you on that. but don't be mean, no one is the best rider once they start. at least he has a sense of humor and puts this video up. I have been riding for eight years and i have fallen off of green horses over much smaller jumps. you cant tell how good of a rider someone is by watching one video of them falling.

Racing horses, showjumpers, horses generally being tired, horses in general eing tied up and groomed.. ears flat back. So your telling me they hate their jobs? That race horses hate racing, showjumpers hate jumping.. & they're not relaxed when they're tired? Its called common sense, the horse is puting its ears back to not allow the rain to get into his ears.. the samer thing happens during RAIN ;)

Nice video - I don't get how people make such a big deal out of it. She looks like she just didn't feel like it xD And I spray my horse in the face all the time, because he enjoys it, if anyone could see she wasn't pulling away and she was actually /facing/ the hose, she could have turned her head the other way but she obviously enjoys that. And you ride well, just try to keep your leg at the girth instead of in front :)
