Restart Endlessly and Bypass Grooveshark Trial on iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch.

Hey lava, thanks for the tutorial. I did everything exactly the way you show in the vid and everything work exactly as what shown in the vid. The problem is the song wont play, clicking play is unresponsive. So my question is are you actually able to play the song as of now? The cracked and bypass works, just that the songs wont actually play.

@aquarianho Hey there, I uploaded a newer video for newer Grooveshark versions. You might want to give that a shot! It currently works for all iDevices. Works perfectly on my iPhone 4S! Search on my channel for it: "How to get Grooveshark with Unlimited VIP". You should have no difficulty finding it, it's in my last 3-4 videos. Cheers!

Ugh I quit. It works and resets fine, and says I have a new trial, then when I try to play a song it tells me I've used Grooveshark for two weeks.

@SpringH22O Make sure to turn off Grooveshark in the multitasking bar. Enter the code in the terminal. Then open grooveshark again. It still works!

When I leave the grooveshark app it closes the music and won't let me continue to play it in app switcher. When I go back the song is gone

For those of you who think this doesn't work anymore...

1) First download grooveshark from the source.

2) THEN START GROOVESHARK FOR A SEC. (this is becouse it makes files which you can change later with terminal)

3) Close Grooveshark completely (so no multi tasking)

4) Open Terminal and Type: gsutil -r

5) Type a random number with a max of 5 digits.

6) DONE!

You must uninstall dtunes ad install mobilterminal ios4 from the same source as the the one showing in the video

As at the minute you have ios5 terminal on your phone the wrong version it doesnt allow you to insatll grooveshark with that version

@lavadr yeah it wont allow you to install grooveshark if you have ios5 terminal? you must use ios4 terminal ! and you must only type five random digits and it dosent have to be a value higher than the one shown

Got the it working but for some reason it wont play the song i select ?! it will play a random song i think its beacuse i signed in and grooveshark seen i already went through my trial and forced me on to grooveshark radio :(

@ronan0492 Hmm, turn off everything and restart with terminal. Even though it "works" with lower digits, try with higher 5 digits. It should work at some point :) Cheers!

I followed the instructions, every time I try to play a song it asks me Would you like to start your trial? i say yes please and nothing plays, my device is iPod touch 4.31

@cleverhype Did you turn off Grooveshark? Turn it off completely, (double tap home button). Go into terminal and write 5 digits: higher than the previous one. Start grooveshark again and it should work.

Hey man thanks for the guide. Though it does not work for me - each time i try to play a song it says "Would you like to start your 2 week, 50 song trial?" Then i press "Yes please", but the song doesn't play.. And it keeps doing that every time i try to play a song or enter the app. Hope you can help.

Make sure to turn off Grooveshark (double tap on home button) then enter the Terminal code (If Grooveshark is still running in the background, it will not work). Make sure to write 5 digits for the random code. Also, make sure the number is lower than the previous. If you reach 99999, type in 11111 once, then do it again with 11112. It will work. Cheers!

Hey, did everything correctly, terminal read 'Trial reset' as it did in your video, then the 'trial ended' pop up still comes up. Any ideas? Got the right version etc...

this is more confusing than it has to be there is a much easier better way to do this with the official grooveshark app from the official bigboss repo and there is no need for mobile terminal. i will upload a video when my trial (my reset trial) has expired once again.

@ajlh94 You don't need Terminal, but you do need iFile and need to respring each time. One advantage would be that you can get the latest version of grooveshark. One way or another; works just fine!

@lavadr yes and there is also another method using terminal for the latest version and you can convert the offline mp3s from your account to your actual idevice to be played in ifile.

@DarkJavier8 Mobile terminal is like the command center for your iDevice. I wouldn't play too much with it if you don't know what you are doing hehe. It's like the CMD application in windows.

@jonross15 Make sure you downloaded the terminal from the source. If you already had it, uninstall it and install the one from the source. After, make sure you write the code correctly "gsutil -r" without the " ".

@GreenXrays I think it's simply the iDevice's unique code or something. The logic behind this is to trick the grooveshark application in thinking it's a new iDevice asking for a trial. Enjoy grooveshark!
