What kills me about this isn't that Godzilla somehow "lives" in a cave, I've seen other Toho monsters do sillier things and this WAS the 70's...

But those fucking retractable robot doors... man. That's almost too much. It's like the writer for this episode was trying to one-up Banno for the most ridiculous thing in the entire Godzilla series.

And he wins. Nothing beats retractable robot doors on Godzilla's house-cave.

@Lynch098 It was a Japanese sci-fi TV show called Zone Fighter produced by Toho, which featured a giant robot hero who would fight various monsters. Sometimes he was overmatched and Godzilla would make a cameo to help out. Both Ghidorah and Gigan also showed up in one show each as the villain monster.
