@Bubbenztr Oh, believe me, the Bible is correct. Just wait and see! Jesus is coming back VERY soon, maybe in the next two years! This world as we know it is winding up for good! First Jesus will come back to take away His Church (truly Born Again Christians), and it will be very similar to "beam me up Scotty" in Star Trek! Then the Great Tribulation (WWIII) will occur where most of the people left behind will die!

@joel10000a -well he says that we can never be sure, but he doesn't think Jesus is coming very soon, (very soon being the next few years). But he did say that it is possible Jesus may come back very soon, he just doesn't think it's very likely. Anyways, we'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Mankind has gotten itself into such a mess that only God can get us back to normal, and that isn't going to happen, I don't think. WWIII could be just around the corner (could be in the next couple of years) and it will be nuclear! Truly Born Again Christians will get taken away in the rapture, before the super bad times start, and then all hell will break loose on those left behind!

@Bakersfieldsucks777 Also you definitely can know that you are on your way to heaven!!! If your teacher doesn't believe this, I doubt very seriously that he is a truly Born Again Christian, and therefore he is NOT going to be telling you the whole truth from the Bible!

@Bakersfieldsucks777 Sorry, I though that was what you meant when you said he said "we can never be sure". That is correct if he was talking about the exact timing of Jesus coming to rapture His Church, but the Bible does tell us that we can know when the season is upon us, and indeed I believe the Great Tribulation is VERY close, which also means Jesus will rapture his Church VERY soon!

@Bubbenztr The Great Tribulation will last for 7 years, and then Jesus will come back to put an end to it, and to cast the devil and his demons away from earth. Then Jesus will set up his kingdom here on earth which will be for 1000 years! Then the end of time will come, and the Great White Throne Judgment!

This is all right upon us! You WILL go through the Great Tribulation UNLESS you first become Born Again!

If we are not reading the signs of the times correctly, and Jesus doesn't come back soon, it will surely surprise me, but it won't stop me from continuing to believe the Bible is true, and that God the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, angels, demons, the devil, and heaven and hell are totally real

I hear stories like this and even though I can relate to the bad parts it is very hard for me to grasp the idea that my life could change and stay that way. In my desperation I seek God but once things get better I always seem to fall back into old habits. I pray that one day I will be able to have a relationship with God in this way.

Do you consider yourself to be a truly Born Again Christian? You can't do it on your own - I mean change yourself. You must rely on God to change you. If you are not Born Again, He does not hear your prayers, except for the prayers involving finding Him!

That is a very good point. I do consider myself born again and I know that God is the only answer for my life. I just can't figure things out right now so I am seeking God. Thanks for responding.

If you are truly Born Again, the Bible says that the Holy Spirit will witness to your spirit, that you are indeed a Child of God. The devil will throw doubts at us, but if we are truly Born Again, and are staying close to God by reading the Bible regularly, attending a good Bible teaching Church regularly, and praying regularly, you will be able to repel the negative thoughts that come at you.
