While at first glance it seems that you can slap something together for cheap, but when you consider the features you get with the ARS or freedom racks, you'll want one, and when you buy one, you'll wonder why exactly you didn't buy one earlier. For instance, I tried to get anything comparable to a large reptile compact rack with CB70-8 tubs. There's nothing close to it for the price.

I think the racks are outrageous in price. I could make my own for less than 100 dollars that would be just as nice.

i agree. i'm actually just gonna make my own. not only will you save money, but you can customize them for your specific needs...with no outrageous custom charge.

Why are his racks so expensive? Its so rediculous. Its like $2000 for 13 tubs w/ the rack. Its bullshit. Could someone pls explain.
