One thing you may want to include in this video is that you are NOT supposed to use anything metal. No metal brushes, spoons, bowls etc. You either need to use plastic or wood everything.
I found I only needed 2 blocks for my shoulder length hair (threw a lot away). I also grated mine with a cheese grater first and found that I did not need to do the double boiler thing to melt it, I just poured in hot coffee, stirred, and I am good to go.
Thanks for the tute!! I usually grate the henna into the bowl, that way it doesn't come out chunky and bitty and you don't have to wait for it to soak.
@glossygirlrules17 Oh dear, not quite what I was hoping for xD Maybe if it had a couple of coats it would go darker... Never mind, thanks for the reply!
OMG this helped so much! Thank you, I recently purchased the henna from LUSH and I did what the girl who works there said to do but i didnt notice a difference! my hair color was the same and i was dissapointed :( but i think i'll do it again
@fancey7dancey I'm guessing that she used coffee to further darken the hair- a lot of people who want to darken hair naturally use coffee, you brew strong black coffe, let it cool and work it into your hair, leave for 30-45 minutes and wash out) :D
Great video :)

I lost my instructions too hence I am looking it up on internet.
The LUSH site is useless for instructions Just gives a few brief pointers and some history. They need to put them on their site..
Thanx for the vid...very clear and concise

@Gemfyre You don't exactly need the instructions, if you just follow what they do in the video. :) I think it was just for reference. :)

why do you use hot coffee?
CAinslieI 1 year ago
So you used 3 blocks and you have hair a little bit below your ears?
So for hair past your shoulders you may need like 2 full blocks?
