The Cubs have cut too many over-priced contracts for mediocre players recently. Why pay big bucks to watch Triple A players paid like major leaguers?
I'll take the Sox anyday over the Cubs. The Cubs have their stadium, but the Sox play in a much more competitive divison and have generally finished near the top in recent years.

You do realie that a fairweather fans in this city go from sox to cubs and cubs to sox depending on how each team is doing, cub fans are so fucking stupid, hey lets here about the attendance cub fans, come on lets here about how the cubs are better becuz they draw more people, 70% of those people dont pay attention to the game, hence the south side is blue collar and the north side is white, lets not start about tedious topics, face it ur team choked again
yea cubs choked i am not gonna argue with that.. the cubs players should be ashamed of themselves.. but face it next year all the cubs fans will still pack wrigley cause they are loyal fans.. cant say that about the sox.. attendance only goes up when they are winning

i agree. hate to see those "bartman" type fans who go to walmart and buy a sox/cubs shirt based on who's going good
suddenly they're "lifelong" fans.
i'm 43, my dad put a cubs hat on me in 69' and ive been a "die hard" cubs fan ever since. good or bad mostly bad.
