Why didn't they just keep teleporting to each other on the farthest platform... If they all teleported to the one who made it farthest, then they have infinite chances and not have all these "fails." Like, if someone made it to the platform that was right before the blue one, then the others would teleport to that person. Then two of them try while one stays behind. Then they teleport to that person still on the platform, if they fail...
