For the love of God, did anyone not notice Rua rocked twice despite a decent recovery. Lyoto landed dozens of quality knees to the body of Rua and some to the head. He staggered him twice with some leg sweeps, and above all hit Rua more in Rua's head (in particular with two front kicks).Rua didn't have clear facial bruses because Rua took his damage in his jaw and temple mainly, a clear sign to Lyoto's superior straight punching. Leg kicks don't land KOS and Rua and took more damage to his core.

And what about all those kicks to Machida's body from Rua? To say Shogun just landed leg kciks is a flat out lie. And don't forget those knees that Rua landed on Machida's body and head. And I seem to remember Rua blocking both Machida's head kicks with his forearm. And Machida didn't rock him. He staggered him a little with a knee at the start of the exchange near the end of the 3rd and thats it. Neither rocked each other. ALos, f you look at fightmetric, Shogun outstruck Machida 82 to 42.

I think Shogun can win this fight. Shogun is very athletic, and explosive. I don't think he will chase down Machida, I don't think he is that foolish. Machida uses distraction, and waits for openings, I don't think Shogun will give him such openings easily. Ben Rothwell is a heavy guy, so it may be a factor against Cain's wrestling. Cain can still win it, because Rothwell is slow. Cain I would predict to win it in a decision.

Anyone who loses to Machida by decision is a good fighter, we saw Tito Ortiz do that and we all know that Shogun's standup is much better than Ortiz's. Right on...I totally agree. Shogun has an awesome chin. He is also very fluid, unpredictable, and technically adept. Also, people overestimate Machida; big time. He really doesn't have good striking technique, and Shogun has way better BJJ and wrestling. Machida doesn't hit hard enough to finish Shogun, and Shogun fights without fear. I agree with all your predictions with the exception of Machida. Im still not 100% convinced by him. Hes got good movement, esp in the MMA field (being a Kung Fu practitioner I cant say its Amazing) but His striking isnt show stopping (he caught Shad in a bad place). Shogun has stopping power & looks pretty focused & determined, something Shad was not that fight night. Rumble is still pretty slept on despite him being a very GOOD fighter. I see him reaching a well rounded-ness of GSP VERY soon!
