my brother bought a 1963 4 door comet custome and we found out its one of the rareest now the made 632 of them total

My father special-ordered a 1963 Mercury Comet station wagon from the factor, equipped with a four-on-the-floor manual shifter, which I understand was very rare in a station wagon. White, with a black interior, and...dah dum...no radio. I'll never forget that one. Very unique.

I had the 4 door sedan in 1983, it was very cool, shiny blue with a white roof and those little fins and distinctive taillights. It was only 20 years then but looked radically different from anything else on the road. Thanks for posting this.
