Mh didn't know there is so much polution in HK, seems very bad :/
But the Chinese Covermant is shitty as hell so they don't realy care about the people in her country. Thats sad because normal Chinese People are nice person.
like how? Look at hk today, everyone complains they don't get enough money, what do you think the people would say if the government spends billions in "renewable energy", would anyone vote for them? would the legislative council agree to the proposals?
In europe people switches off their engines in front of traffic lights, even drivers who earn a considerable amount of money. The ppl in hk complains abt the idea even though when they are just sitting waiting in queues.
wait for technology to advance?!? the technology is there for decades already! it's the political will to do something that is not there! Our government bows to the polluting companies (power generation and transport), and values their profits higher than our health.THAT is the real problem!
I'd like to appeal to all the folks who happen to see this posting to sign the petition urging the HK government to cut all the rhetoric and start fighting pollution immediately. Banning the use of coal by all power companies is the first most important step, following by the dumping of all diesel vehicles.
OK it's terrible. But 7 million doctor visits per year - that doesn't mean anything. HK people go to the doctor if they cough just once or have a headache for two minutes
The government isn't going to take swift, drastic action and rapidly fix air quality problems. What they're going to do is little acts and laws passed occasionally, and it looks like we'll just have to wait for technology to advance to the point where our emissions are reduced and things are more efficient.
It's scary for a reason: polluted air is making us sick and we need to be sharply reminded that only if we all push the government will it get serious about fixing the problem.
It's shocking that air pollution in Hong Kong kills three people every day. Now that's really scary.
the reason we made it "scary" is precisely because people don't take seriously enough the extremely dangerous health impacts of hk's air pollution, even though the death toll is real and major.
I am glad we have the answers to turn Hong Kong's Air Quality problems around. Lets hope the Government is even braver to take bigger steps and business owners see the benefits of living with cleaner air in Hong Kong!

This is why this video is here.
The problem can not be solved. This is a gimmick for attention and support for changing air pollution.
The problem cant be solved once and for all until the the success of promotion of a new kind of energy.

3 deaths per day JUST in Hong Kong, and 1100 deaths per year overall. Now that's some scary statistics!
Hopefully the government is rethinking about this air pollution issue. We have to act quick before it gets too late!!
