  • That's funny. Someone said Gyaltsab Rinpoche is depressed. How funny! I've met the man. He's a very wonderful man. Very sane and stable and calm and deeply compassionate. A great realised master. Not likely to get depressed, I would imagine. I saw him in Sikkim, and he was the embodiment of compassion, solid like a mountain. A very gentle man. What more can I say? I like the guy, and I suspect he's doing fine.

  • So whic Karmapa does Tai Situ & Gyaltrab support?

  • Why havent u allowed forensics testing on the signature?

  • doubted that the handwriting of the letter was the same. There was a lot of sweat on the letter but none at all of the envellop out of cloth which supposedly protected the letter in the Gau - strange...

No letter ever the 16th Karmapa posed the seal on his signature,,, etc....

  • who am i to question any rinpoche but if there is nothing to hide then why not test the letter from the offset before it 'disapeared'? if it did.what harm would it do if it was tested? why reject a test if nothing to hide? interesting why the hh dalai lama confirmed recognision of hh ogyen trinley also..... is this new thing? the dalai lamas didnt recognise any until now did they?

  • how comes that the letter is damaged by sweat but the tissue which suposingly protected it during ten years was is not damaged at all, as its clearly visible in the video?

  • What a show. I am a master of body speaking. Please no, we are Kagyüs we see what he does. Maybe it is a well show for chinese, but realy not for the western people ha ha please stop that.

  • I wonder why Tai Situpa will not let the letter be forensically tested, then we could finally end this Karmapa controversy mess.

  • Yes, suspicious isn't it? There are only two outcomes... that the letter is a forgery (as the sloppy handwriting and lack of resemblance to 16th Karmapa's handwriting would seem to suggest), or that it is legitimate and then he would have nothing to worry about. Considering the character of the man in question, his ties to smuggling rings that trade in endangered animal species, and his frequent inciting to violence of armed thugs dressed in monk's robes the first option seems entirely likely

  • @changchubdorje

Hi, so who is the person that you are talking about? Which Karmapa does the three regents support? Tx

  • @pat2698

To begin with "Regent" is a misnomer... but at any rate a tricky issue. The Tai Situpa, undoubtedly supports Ogyen Trinley Dorje as the Karmapa, as ostensibly does Gyaltsab Rinpoche (although he has been somewhat scarce lately, and is said to seem depressed). That makes two. The Shamarpa obviously supports Trinley Thaye Dorje. The reincarnation of Jamgon Kongrul Rinpoche is disputed in much the same way the Karmapa reincarnation is, so there is one in support of both sides.

  • Dear Mr Gautam Singh & Changchub Dorje,

I have read a lots of ur comments against to HH the 17th KarmaPa Ogyen Trinley Dorje. Well, that is ur Karma. But one thing, you two should know that is not right to give for forensically tested. But when you really think that then why don't you try ur, frist????

Before you see others, always see the mirrow urself.

Long live HH 17th KarmaPa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.

  • What?

FYI, when more pressure was put on to examine the letter, all of a sudden it went missing. So, the very letter in this video is no where to be found and cannot be tested anyway.

    Interesting, isn't it.

  • 佛光普照。

  • E Ma Ho! How precious to have genuine masters to guide us on the path.

    Sarva Mangalam!
