My guess is that this is a taster of what the finished movie would be like, it's raw and looks like a very quick post-production job. Where's this "fanmade" stuff from? Blomkamp had 5 months sweating 24/7 at Weta on this until the idiotic, budget-paranoid studio/backers pulled the plug. Shame that Peter Jackson (producing) hasn't got the independence deserved after all he's done and the cash he's made for Hollywood. This was shaping up to be the most original sci-fi action flick in decades.
