  • I would've loved my parents taking me out to shoot when I was younger. I wouldn't have to get over the "fear" of guns that they (with good meaning, I'm sure) instilled in me. Props to the dad for being willing to teach and have his kid understand dangers and safe procedures.

  • i see a lot of videos like this one kids do need to know what guns can do but do not put a gun in someone hands when they do not how to hold a handgun the right way thats how you get shot

ALWAYS POINT THE MUZZLE IN A SAFE DIRECTION !!!

  • great job dad ,any one can protect the family...thanks..for ...the ...good vid..

  • Fantastic! I would be proud of him too! I wish more young folks were trained up as well as you have been teaching him! I am taking my 3 sons to appleseedinfo event next month for rifle training. Great inexpensive training for everyone. Check it out!

  • if he can do it my wife can do it! this may be the video to end all procrastinatation! nice shooting for such a youngin!

  • You should be proud..he handled it very well

  • kids got good grip

  • I just bought my first gun about 6-7 months ago. My choice was the SW40VE. Love the feel and the power. Not much kick if u hold it right. I did rapid fire with mine and barely any recoil to it. Sure is loud though. I just wonder if higher the grain the more power?

  • @NC198600 The heavier bullets do give better penetration and a higher energy at the muzzle. With the higher energy and better penetration you also unfortunately have more felt recoil. Follow up shots are not as quick as with the lighter bullets. Usually the middle weights 155 to 165gr. will give you the advantage of penetration and slightly faster second shots than the heavy 180 to 185gr. projectiles will. I'm not a big fan of the 135gr. rounds. But I do love my 40s all three. SIG S&W and RUGER

  • @NC198600 That is not usually the case for handgun ammunition. The 180gr ammo usually has a lower velocity than the lighter ammo. Now the advantage to the heavier weight bullets is obviously more kinetic energy transfer. The lighter 135gr(usually only found as JHPs[jacketed hollow-point]) are made to penetrate multiple layers of clothing before the petals deploy. This keeps them from over-penetrating and striking an innocent bystander who may be behind said perpetrator.

  • wow a 8 yrs old with gun why the fuck you need a gun for and 8 yrs its just a kid

  • @Shazee083 I need a gun to protect my family and I wish you luck if you ever have to call 911 for a home invasion, you could scream like a little girl, that may save your sorry ass, until cops arrive.

  • @izaak78 yea in Canada if i shoot first then i get blamed then i will charged for second degree murder you need a witness and or a surveillance camera Canada police are like very good in policing now since we pay them like 80,000 average comparing to an American city police or us marshal which is like 45,000 with no health benefits. So i am pretty sure the odds my housing getting Jacked is very slim it takes about 45sec to cops to get here.

  • @izaak78 LMAO well put.

  • @Shazee083 to murder his enemies

  • @Shazee083 haha the kids has more balls then you do

  • Damn he did really well! I cant wait to get my Sigma .40 next friday! California laws blow! I have to wait a full 10 days before I can pick it up....

  • Excellent little man!! BRAVO,thats what you do,face your fears and over-come them....

  • Love the Sigma! 5*****

  • Now all he needs to learn is how to keep the gun pointed down range while dropping the mag.

  • @Master7770 remember this is his first time with a 40 cal pistol, the magazine was empty because the slide was open which happens when the follower in the magazine pushes the slide release upwards catching the slide, yes he needs more practice and that is exactly why I take him to shoot.

  • I wish my dad was more like you when I was little. Lol but he wasnt there for 13 years so I have to take my self to the range now because hes gone again lmao oh fuckin well. You're doing the right thing by teaching him about guns and gun safety young. Good job and stay safe buddy!

  • this is a nice looking range...my range up here in NY looks like a dark haunted subway. alexis is looking good there...it's great memories together. good job dad.
