  • I have a dv camera recorder and I don´t know how to transfer my videos to my ASUS UL50V, cuz there is no link connection on the computer,...help?

  • Asus factory overclocks it to a 1.7 GHz not a 1.3 but these idiots don't point it out which is effing weird!!

  • im a bit confused here is this cpu like the core i7 for mobile desktops that increase automatically according to the load that the laptop has to deal with?....im asking this question since i find 1.30ghz to be very low.

  • why use 4gb of ram with a 1.3 ghz processor, you might as well have an atom in there and that processor is for netbooks.......

  • It is better to have this processor since it is dual-core. Lots of RAM doesn't bottle neck based on the CPU speed. so that configuration would be perfect for running liike several word documents, a few spreadsheets, an e-mail program and browsing the web at the same time.

  • i dunno man it seems stupid to have such a low end processor even if it was dual core, i have a dell with an intel 1.73ghz processor (i cant remember which one) that gets 5 and a half hours of battery and thats a dell, i mean it runs smoothly as well, i can use photoshop, messenger, internet, coursework with 1 gig of ram so why would you go so over the top with 1.3ghz???

  • well the vid says its an underclocked CPU so its probably just to save power and with that much RAM you will likely never feel the limitations as far as RAM goes, It might have even been it was easier to produce with the full 4. It does seem like a waste to put that much in there though.

  • the Asus comes with a factory overclocked 1.7 GHz processor but is "rated" at 1.3GHz so its actually a 1.7GHz, I dunno why they don't point this out in the video

  • nice laptop. Price its not in any stores yet :O well were i live

  • BRING BACK TECH UPDATE!

  • i didnt know obligatory was a word lol

  • unsubscribing..

    not worth my fucking time

  • Why would you use a notebook for video editing anyway?

  • @meekoman25 Why do you think? Use that brain of yours and really try to work it out.

  • @UnrealGlider I'm talking over a desktop. Why would you pay lets say $1000 dollars on a laptop when you could buy a desktop with more processing power for the same price. The only way I could see that would be if you were traveling somewhere, but personally I wouldn't tote my $1000 laptop somewhere I would have a higher chance of getting stolen. Does this answer your question?

  • Its funny to see him dance around the fact that the laptop has a cruddy screen resolution. BRING BACK TECH UPDATE!

  • Bauer got fired for sure, haven't seen him in a loooooong time. That's why you don't see tech update anymore. They also fired that other girl.

  • @h0w13r Yes, thats why Bauer said on his blog that it will be back in January.

  • YES! This is a sick notebook. I was going to get it but I think im going to get a UL20

  • :-D I'm looking forward to the new techupdate in Jaurary. It'll be good. I've missed it Haha

  • fucking geeks rating it low because they cant wait for tech update. moaning will NOT speed it up you crying little bitches.
