i don't think so - i only used vista 64 bit to have 4 g ram addressing capacity - but from what i see fsx uses only 2.4 max of ram on my system - i'm not a pro re: fsx/hardware required - you have to ask fs pros about that - i posted this vid here for my friends for fun only...
