People say that we pick on or abuse these countries. Fact is, they abuse the fact that we fallow the rules so closely, if we fought as dirty as they did we would have rolled through the middle east in a matter of months. They play dirty because they know that they couldn't handle a toe-to-toe fight against us. If they had open fired on them to defend themselves they would be court marshaled and thrown and prison. Sometimes I feel the rules of engagement are just there to fuck us over.

Red diamond = Red cross. In Muslim countries, a red diamond is used instead of a red cross because the cross reminds them of Christianity. They were probably carrying medical supplies. Or they were disguising themselves as medics.

1. Rules of Engagement- They have to be in Uniform or shooting back at you.

2. The cars had a Red Diamond on them, which is an international symbol of a medical non-combatant vehicle. It's often used where red crosses or crescents would be unwise.

Combined, it's enough for the marines not to fire until shot at.
