What beautiful pictures & the song & words brought tears to my eyes. This is the best tribute I have heard as of yet. I can relate more than you know. After 40 years of hearing Karens voice for the first time, I still cry when I think of her. Wishing we had crossed paths at a point in time. Maybe in another life.Forever really speaks for my Love & Loyalty. It is hard to say I am a fan when I feel so much more. There's no other I think of this way. No one will ever compare in my heart..Thk You!

Wonderful Collection! Her early photos, are soooo beautiful. Her smile on them, looked totally endearing it would melt ice in seconds. She had a beautiful voice.

Of all of the photos and videos of KC that I have seen, the one photo that tops them all is the one where she and Richard are sitting on the rock at the shoreline on the cover of their "Close To You" LP. You know, the one where he's wearing a blue jacket over a light colored shirt and she's wearing that white dress with her one knee hanging over her other knee and she's clutching the dress with her ?right? hand.

Karen without question was the most Beautiful & Angelic women I have ever seen. If today's artist used this very special Lady as an influence they may learn something. Voice of an Angel, Eyes of God. She was indeed a Borrowed Angel that we were very fortunate to have. I would move Heaven & Earth if I could to bring her back. I was born when they signed their first recording contract. The Carpenters are the reason I don't watch singing talent shows- I have the Best ! Wake up Hall of Fame!!!

@sisterlead02 - I know (Karen is better), but Miley gets teased just like Karen did about being so goodie two shoes and all .... I think Miley's voice will develop as well. There is no comparison, but I just put it out there...:)

Thank you so much for these great pictures...it is so sad...Karen had reservations about transitioning from drums to being in front of crowds, and then a reporter called her the "chubby" sister. She never really needed to diet. Karen was definitely one of the greatest of the 70s.

She was chubby as a child but seems to have grown out of it when 13.I think that the reporter who called her chubby must have seen pictures of Karen as a child and that is why the reporter called her the"chubby sister".Karen took it personally and to mean that she was somehow still chubby-which she wasn,t anymore at 18 years old.
