Saw them April 3rd or 4th 1993 at the Cow Palace, (you know that biography that opens with reference to The Bosnia Rape Benefit Concert with L7, yeah that one. I WAS THERE and Alice in Chains 2 days later in San Jose.

It was the best concert out of 100 concerts since 1979 Day on the Green with Aerosmith, Ted Nugent and ACDC WITH Bon Scott) and including RUSH Moving Pictures Tour. Pink Floyd, Page/Plant....you name it, NIRVANA IS BETTER THAN ALL of THEM !

Am a year older than Kurt.

yeah i knew he played the jagstang at concerts someone was tellingmehe never played the jagstang because it was made in 1998 people dont know anything these days

Jagstang had proto-types made for Kurt in 1994.

Fender made him two Jagstang prototypes. One in fiesta red, and one in sonic blue. The red one is in a museum, and Peter Buck from R.E.M was given the other one by Courtney Love. Kurt only played the blue one at a few shows on the European leg of the In Utero tour. He quit using it because it kept screwing up. Fender later made reissues in 98'.

jagstang's are not really good guitars at all... dont get me wrong its awesome to have your own custom made guitar, but if u buy a jagstang STOCK from a store its a piece of crap.

crazy stuff,so kurt did break in the jag-stang before he passed,just look at the solo.Kurt's most notable guitars-Lake Placid Blue '69 Fender Competition Mustang,Sunburst '64 Fender Jaguar,Sonic Blue Fender Mustang,Sunburst Mosrite copy,Black Fender Stratocaster with the "Vandalism,beautiful as a rock in a cop's face" sticker,and of course the all important,legendary Sonic Blue Fender Jag-Stang.Funny,most guitarists just have a special edition of an existing guitar,Kurt created his own.

Kurt only had one Jag, the '65. If you've seen a Mag picture or cover of him eith what looks like a Black Jag, its a Jaguar copy.
