I like how they used 2 seconds of Howard Shore music (The Lord of the RIngs soundtrack) at 2:28 then immediately went to the generic rock intro, so that they don't have copyright problems.
For some reason, this just doesn't work. Maybe it's because I have to pause the video a lot just to figure out what you're riffing, which really destroys the pacing.

As for the notes such as "I'm a faggot" I'm very sorry to say that much more intelligent, mature comments come from middle-schoolers. The deal about the tiny hands or fingers? Okay I hate to spoil this for you but: animators don't want it to look real. Example: Stan from American Dad, his chin is in fact a bit large. Stewie from Family guy has a somewhat large skull, and dogs (Bryan) are not commonly bipedal. It's not criticism, it's stupid. For the love of God, please stop demeaning good work.

So if you're so good about all this, and would obviously make everything COMPLETELY realistic in all your animated videos, why haven't you made your own? I have this rule. You don't have to follow it, but you should. If you can't do something, or do it better, don't mock someone elses work.
But seriously if no one mocked anyone's work, they're wouldn't be any parodies, spoofs, Abridged series wouldn't exist, etc. Seriously someone did it for fun just learn to laugh at shit, don't take it to heart. this is awesome! the voice acting is great, it's got all the humour of the webcomic... but i just wish they would improve the animation quality. It's like watching a stop frame video made by kids.

As for the notes such as "I'm a faggot" I'm very sorry to say that much more intelligent, mature comments come from middle-schoolers. The deal about the tiny hands or fingers? Okay I hate to spoil this for you but: animators don't want it to look real. Example: Stan from American Dad, his chin is in fact a bit large. Stewie from Family guy has a somewhat large skull, and dogs (Bryan) are not commonly bipedal. It's not criticism, it's stupid. For the love of God, please stop demeaning good work.

...So it's NOT a gaming comic about a gamer who worked a store until he earned it back for his boss from Lilah's ex and got possession as the manager and married his girlfriend secretly once and she had a miscarriage (thats the joke) and right now the story is in the middle of the official wedding and Rory, his brother is being hunted by the mob and now the police. To fill in comics Buckley uses Chef Brian, The Players and Pinups. So us annotators know nothing eh?

So if you're so good about all this, and would obviously make everything COMPLETELY realistic in all your animated videos, why haven't you made your own? I have this rule. You don't have to follow it, but you should. If you can't do something, or do it better, don't mock someone elses work.

But seriously if no one mocked anyone's work, they're wouldn't be any parodies, spoofs, Abridged series wouldn't exist, etc. Seriously someone did it for fun just learn to laugh at shit, don't take it to heart. It's a cartoon. If the guys who did South Park and Family Guy took things like that to heart, would they still be making the show the way they have been over the years?

Fair enough. But there's a difference between saying that something is ridiculous (good parodies) and saying that the work is outright stupid (bad parodies). That's an opinion, and if it can't be backed up by providing something better, it should be kept silent. Or else it's just whining.

@minisherm Well, I agree, but it's just for fun I don't find the comic or the series to be that bad. It's good for a chuckle or two. But the writing could use more work and the animation could be improved and a bit smoother. It's just summing up criticism with annotations. It's just opinions, if they want to think that way, it's their choice.

hi minisherm, that "if you can't do better then say nothing" thing is a common fallacy, we're youtube users uninterested or unprepared to make a webcomic; if I had all the budget, software, hardware, team, and art education Buckley had in the making of his comic, then I WOULD say yes, I could do better, so that's really not a good argument, since given those things, a lot of people who commented on this could do better than him. Plus, pointing out what sucks, even insultingly is legit criticism.

oh, I certainly wouldn't copy paste faces, insert a miscarriage into a gaming webcomic, write so lazily, pass something like this off as animation and charge for it, or expose myself to an underage girl, and criticism and insults don't have to be mutually exclusive, if people dislike your work so much as to insult you for it, that IS criticism, harsh criticism, of course not all insults are criticism, but many, especially in CAD's case, have a basis to be.
