i made a multiclip of two clips and dragged the multiclip into the timeline, but whenever i try to play it, instead of audio it just has this annoying beeping noise, what am I doing wrong?

You need to render the audio. If using final cut, press Command + R on the keyboard

If you are on FCP 6+ you should not have any renders... make sure you sequence settings match your clip settings

I checked on the multicam for Final Cut Express and FCE does not have that feature!!!!

Apparently the terms are interchangeable. In FCP, they use the term multiclip.
