Which shade of the Instant Age Rewind concealer do you have? I have a similar skin tone to yours, and I have no idea if I should use medium or fair. Thanks!

Okay, I am running out and trying the Age Rewind Concealer. I really love my Maybelline Mineral Power concealer for spots on my face, but I want to try something different under my eyes and I always walk by it in the store and never give it a second thought.
I like to use primer, foundation and then setting powder with my routine. If I were to use the Maybeline, Neutrogena or Makeup Forever foundations what primer and powder would you recommend I use?

I watched this about a month ago. I've got a really oily t zone, I looked horrible after a few hours of wearing makeup. Chanel mat lumiére didn't hold up on my skin. My smashbox primer didn't help. After this video I purchased the Mat velvet + and OH MY GOD. It's the best foundation I´ve ever used! My makeup looks the same for hours. I put my makeup on at like 7-8am and it lasts all day, at 11, after school and work it still looks the same as it did in the morning. THANK YOU so much for this!
Also, on blemishes and around my nose where the blood vessels are close to the skin, I use Bare Ecssentials foundation with a small brush, and really squash it into the skin. Then I top it with Mat Velvet foundation all over. It really seems to stay put all day with the combination of powder and liquid foundation.
I agree about the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer!! Very good stuff. I used the color "Neutralizer" or something like that. Yellows work best to cover my dark circles, and this one looked more yellow than any other in the store. If anyone has another color with more yellow, let me know. I also use a little of the Physician's Formula yellow stick on top of it.

I've been using the Age rewind eraser foundation for about a month or two and my skin has started to breakout with cystic acne around the chin area. I didn't have any breakouts before I started using this foundation, maybe like the occasional little pimple around my monthly cycle but that was it. I'm not sure what's causing the horrible breakouts.
Has anyone else has experienced breakouts with this foundation??
The maybelline concealed nor the foundation worked for me. Neither gave me very much coverage and it's a very very very oily formula. This is just my opinion and the experience I had with it!

I just tried the concealer by maybelline after watching this video yesterday and I really liked it. I have really dark circles and have alredy tried a lots of concealers but just can't find the right one. This one is really good an not expensive at all,I really recomand it if you have really dark circles :)
I have the same concealer and really thing about buying the foundation as well. As for the applicator, I like it although I also think it is not very hygienic. However, since I disinfect all my make up on a regular basis; I also do it with that - I just spray some Isopropylalcohol on it and hope this will do the job and kill the bacteria. For this product I do it after every use and so far it didn't ruin the applicator.
I bought this concealer after your review and it works wonderful. I have these natural lines under my eyes (not wrinkles, I'm only 22) and other concealers (mac, boing from benefit, or the amazing concealer) usually crease around that area but the Mayblline concealer doesn't which I love the most about. @ismeamanda I've heard that the only thing you really need to do for anti-aging is wear sunscreen on a daily basis! Apparently all the anti-aging creams are just hype and not really proven to help with anti-aging. Also you an just use the same SPF moisturizer as your eye cream, you don't need a special one! Makes sense since the sun is what can really make your skin age faster.

@joannconner1 usually it says on the packaging whether it's yellow or pink. Otherwise it's quite easy to see, actually. Especially if you know if you're pink or yellow based yourself, than you can just put it on your hand to compare it to your own skin.
Neutrogena can be purchased online. Nice video. Very informative Tiffany. Your skin looks flawless. Color choice looks perfect. I have blue veins but yellow skin tone. Remember ladies... Never match your foudation to your wrist. Always match it to your face.

Hi, Tiff!:) My face is the same, in that it's kind of pinky in the morning. So when I started using foundation I thought I should go by that and bought a bunch of pink toned stuff. Don't need to tell you what it looked like. LOL!(I soon figured out that I needed something more yellow toned.) I guess the greatest thing is that all that pinkness is actually irritation, so if I use really gentle products I don't even need foundation!;) And moisturizing properly makes breakouts super easy to handle.

@thereselovesmakeup13 I normally have really oily skin but for some reason it has become kind of dry lately so that's why I was looking for something else. As a young person with oily skin, I'm afraid you really won't find anything that won't become oily as the day progresses. You might have to just try and manage that with other products like the Urban Decay sprays. I personally use Kryolan Anti-Shine powder. It works well for me. The price isn't too bad. A little goes a long way.

Tiffany, you can buy NARS foundation pumps from Barney's New York - it's the only place I've found that has any stock left. They're $6 and wierdly listed in the Bobbi Brown section, as 'Foundation Pump - An optional pump for all NARS liquid foundations'. Bobbi Brown doesn't even sell pumps separately! When I bought mine, it still came in NARS packaging etc and the receipt said NARS so it may have just been a mistake. It fits the bottles perfectly! xxx

I Love what you just said about your face being pink toned but your body being yellow toned! That's just like me, and whenever I've been matched for foundation, they always match me with pink toned colours which look horrible! I go for yellow to make myself even!
@RachaelPappalardo what I heard is try to match your foundation with the color of your neck..so it really depends whether your neck is lighter/darken than your face, hope this help..but if I was wrong don't get mad at me (>_<)

After I finish my HD foundation I washed the pump really clean & then put the pump for my Nars sheer glow. It fits perfectly, you just need to cut the plastic straw a bit shorter to fit since the HD bottle is taller then the Sheer Glow. Nars bottle problem fixed =D
you should try the LUSH color supplements. I mix it in with my moisturizer and it doesnt even look like i have any make up on. It gives a very light coverage and a little goes a long way. I use it on days when i dont feel like wearing a lot of make up. Otherwise i use the neutrogena healthy skin. Its AMAZING!
I have very pale (NW15, and sometimes lighter) skin, and I've been wanting a new foundation routine. I have very oily, acne prone skin, but it's been clearing up lately. I want a medium coverage routine. Would the Origins VitaZing work well on my skin, with a pressed powder and concealer?
@StrawberryFrosting3 Unfortunatley, I've never used Origins VitaZing, but I am very pale (the same NW15) combo skin. I'm so pale, I'm blue...lol..seriously, I have blue undertones. I know how frustrating it can be to try to find a shade and foundation that works. What works for me is the Smashbox Primer and the MakeUpForever HD foundation with the MUFE lift concealer. If you get a chance you can get samples to see if it works for you from Sephora.
Have you ever tried the Revlon ColorStay foundation? I am using the Combination/Oily one and I wanted to get your views on it before I continue to buy it. :)
@helinaabelle I used to use the Revlon Colorstay when I had some acne that i wanted to cover -- it worked very well so if you're looking for good coverage then i would say buy it :) good luck xx

After I saw this video, I bought the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, I looked for it everywhere here in Paris, and it's my new favourite product ever! I usually only use YSL Touche Eclat, but this has definitely replaced it. I'm going to try the foundation next. Thank you so much Tiffany!

i bought the neutrogena foundation and the maybelline concealer you showed. i LOVE them both. they are exactly what i've been looking for since summer ended. i was using a compact powder foundation that just made me look dusty now that it's fall. the concealer has REPLACED my diorskin sculpt entirely. Hi, Tiff!:) My face is the same, in that it's kind of pinky in the morning. So when I started using foundation I thought I should go by that and bought a bunch of pink toned stuff. Don't need to tell you what it looked like. LOL!(I soon figured out that I needed something more yellow toned.) I guess the greatest thing is that all that pinkness is actually irritation, so if I use really gentle products I don't even need foundation!;) And moisturizing properly makes breakouts super easy to handle.

omg....i got the maybeline concealer...and its my new found highly loved product!!!! i never ever thought that a drugstore concealer could be that amazing, but: cover is ok and u can build it up, colour is perfect in "fair" and its not creasing!!!!! thank u so much for the tip!!!

@thereselovesmakeup13 I bought the foundation and the pressed powder a few days ago and I really like it. I'm very surprised. I think I might like it better than my Smashbox foundation. And Walgreens had it for Buy One Get One 50% off. I didn't get the concealer because I have a couple of other ones, but now I think I will go back and get it.

@thereselovesmakeup13 I normally have really oily skin but for some reason it has become kind of dry lately so that's why I was looking for something else. As a young person with oily skin, I'm afraid you really won't find anything that won't become oily as the day progresses. You might have to just try and manage that with other products like the Urban Decay sprays. I personally use Kryolan Anti-Shine powder. It works well for me. The price isn't too bad. A little goes a long way.

Tiffany, you can buy NARS foundation pumps from Barney's New York - it's the only place I've found that has any stock left. They're $6 and wierdly listed in the Bobbi Brown section, as 'Foundation Pump - An optional pump for all NARS liquid foundations'. Bobbi Brown doesn't even sell pumps separately! When I bought mine, it still came in NARS packaging etc and the receipt said NARS so it may have just been a mistake. It fits the bottles perfectly! xxx

I Love what you just said about your face being pink toned but your body being yellow toned! That's just like me, and whenever I've been matched for foundation, they always match me with pink toned colours which look horrible! I go for yellow to make myself even!

@RachaelPappalardo what I heard is try to match your foundation with the color of your neck..so it really depends whether your neck is lighter/darken than your face, hope this help..but if I was wrong don't get mad at me (>_<)

I had to try the Mabelline concealer and foundation after seeing this video. I absolutely LOVE them both. I have been trying to find a concealer that covers but doesn't accentuate the fine lines and this does the trick. Thanks for letting me know about this wonerful product.

I bought the Neutrogena foundation and Maybelline concealer the same day I watched your September favorites video, and I LOOOOVE them! I used to think nothing could compare to my NARS sheer glow, but I've found that the Neutrogena holds up a lot better on my oily, acne-prone skin. And the Maybelline concealer... seriously, hands-down BEST concealer I've tried! No creasing even after a long day at school/work plus gym at night. HG products. After I finish my HD foundation I washed the pump really clean & then put the pump for my Nars sheer glow. It fits perfectly, you just need to cut the plastic straw a bit shorter to fit since the HD bottle is taller then the Sheer Glow. Nars bottle problem fixed =D

you should try the LUSH color supplements. I mix it in with my moisturizer and it doesnt even look like i have any make up on. It gives a very light coverage and a little goes a long way. I use it on days when i dont feel like wearing a lot of make up. Otherwise i use the neutrogena healthy skin. Its AMAZING!

I have very pale (NW15, and sometimes lighter) skin, and I've been wanting a new foundation routine. I have very oily, acne prone skin, but it's been clearing up lately. I want a medium coverage routine. Would the Origins VitaZing work well on my skin, with a pressed powder and concealer?

@StrawberryFrosting3 Unfortunatley, I've never used Origins VitaZing, but I am very pale (the same NW15) combo skin. I'm so pale, I'm blue...lol..seriously, I have blue undertones. I know how frustrating it can be to try to find a shade and foundation that works. What works for me is the Smashbox Primer and the MakeUpForever HD foundation with the MUFE lift concealer. If you get a chance you can get samples to see if it works for you from Sephora.

@helinaabelle I used to use the Revlon Colorstay when I had some acne that i wanted to cover -- it worked very well so if you're looking for good coverage then i would say buy it :) good luck xx
