  • I meant you can also hold A, if there is a disc in there.

  • How does it happen?

  • @Kirbyguy12345 How does what happen?

  • @theultimatekoopa2 The menu music?

  • @Kirbyguy12345 If you don't have a disc in the GameCube, the menu will appear.

You can also hold A when the GameCube logo appears.

  • why did you paint your gamecube grey i like it the way it comes (purple) better

  • @mrrobloxia101 Wow, no offence, but ... you're a fucking retard. Two things... firstly, there are black GameCubes available, prick. Secondly, prick... do you REALLY think I somehow have a completely white room that I took this picture in? Ever heard of this thing called "the internet" -- you're using it write now. There's these things called "images" that you can download from this thing called "the internet". Fucking retard. Why did I paint it? I didn't paint anything you stupid cocksucker!

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Woah, calm down dude. No reason to freak out. All he said was why did you paint it. I know you didn't but all you had to say was "I didn't". Wow you make a big deal out of things.

  • @rubiks2010 Because people should not be so freaking ignorant.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 What if he didn't know? Ever think of that??

  • @rubiks2010 He shouldn't not know. As if I'd take my time to paint the GameCube exactly? Not to mention that it's pretty obvious it's not even mine -- do you REALLY think I live in a house with white walls, and white windows?

  • @theultimatekoopa2 You can take your own picture and cut it out on your computer and then put it with a white background. Dumbass

  • @rubiks2010 Shadows... dumbass.

  • @rubiks2010 Also use your fucking head and search Google Images for "GameCube"

  • @theultimatekoopa2 I don't need to search Google Images for a retarded console when I already know your just trying to be right, but your not.

  • @rubiks2010 Fuck off you fucking Sony fanboy prick. How am I not right? This is not my console you fucking retarded cunt.

  • 400% x 400% is 16 times, dumbarse

  • @nicnec7 If you speed something by 50%, it's 150% of the speed, dumbarse, so if you speed something by 400% it's 500% of the speed. Then speed it up again, it's 2500%. Dumbarse!

320 miles per hour is a speed. 640 miles per hour is 200% of the speed, but it's sped up BY 100%. 960 is 300%, but it's sped up BY 200%. Yeah, dumbarse. I'm a little more fucking smarter than you, you stupid fucked up retarded shit.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 wow, you're so stupid I don't even know what to say, you need to take a chill pill

and besides, if you claim that you sped you're up 25 times, then why does the other video say (the nonfeatured video on the left) that it is sped up 16 times

    400% x 400% is 1600%

  • @theultimatekoopa2 sorry for double post but,

    100% is normal

    50% times the original speed is 50% because 100% x 50% = 50%

    200% times the original speed is 200% because 100% x 200% = 200%

    so,

    400% times the original speed is 400% because 100% x 400% = 400%

    400% times the speeding up is 1600% (of the original speed) because 400% x 400% = 1600%

Audacity (the program you are using) speeds it up by multiplying it, I.E. 400% = 4 TIMES as fast

but I'm sure you won't believe me, I'm done here

  • @nicnec7 No no, you've got it wrong.

In Audacity, when you use the change speed thing, it goes from -99.9% to about 400%. Setting it to -34% for example, means 100 - 34% which means it changes to 76% of the speed. Changing it to 5% increases it to 105%. It ADDS, not multiplies.

-50% = 50%, 50% = 150%. It's increasing by that ammount, NOT multiplying. You can't have used Audacity if you don't know that if you set it to speed up by 50% it INCREASES to 150%, NOT decreases to 50%. 400% = 5 x speed.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 ok, ok

I think you're right about this being sped up to 25x because the 16x video is almost twice as long

  • @nicnec7 Yeah, because like I said, in Audacity, when you select the Change Speed thing, the percentage is at 0%. A more simple explanation would be that the percentage is the change, not the actual result. I.e. 400% means a change of 400% (100 + 400 = 500), or -50% is a change of -50% (100 - 50 = 50).

So now I'd like to ask, why firstly, did you call me stupid? And SECONDLY, why did you say that "Audacity (the program you are using) speeds it up by multiplying it, I.E. 400% = 4 TIMES as fast"?

  • And it's also a song on Mario DDR! But that tells you by itself. lol

  • @SkittlesTheLucario What? You've never played Piroli? Type that in into the search bar, and it will definitely be the first result.

  • @SkittlesTheLucario Wait, are you some kind of robotic computer? I never mentioned "Piroli", what the fuck are you talking about? I never took your carrots!

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Alrighty-then. You have fun with THAT.

  • @SkittlesTheLucario Go fucking die in a hole, or explain what the fuck is going on in your head!

Firstly "it's a song on Mario DDR"? Oh really? "That tells you by itself", WHAT THE FUCK TELLS YOU?

"You've never played Piroli"? WHERE THE FUCK DID I MENTION PIROLI ANYWHERE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE ENTIRE MOTHER FUCKING PLANET?

  • @theultimatekoopa2 You kay' there man? You seem...psychotic.

  • @SkittlesTheLucario Hold on, I'm the psychotic one? Am I the one that fucking posts fucked up shit? WHAT THE FUCK IS PIROLI?

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Okay, I'm going to sum this up as simply as possible to justify my earlier post so that you can see what the hell I'm talking about. In the GameCube game Dance Dance Revolution, there is a song entitled Pirori. Using the start-up tune from the Famicom Disk System, they created it. Comprende vous?

  • @SkittlesTheLucario The LEAST you could have done was accepted that I've never played DDR, so obviously I wouldn't know that Piroli is. You should fucking explain yourself! "What? You've never played Piroli?" -- at least explain WHAT Piroli is before assuming I fucking knew what it was!

  • @theultimatekoopa2 You sir, need to be more patient and understanding with people. You're sudden jump to conflict makes you look quite bad. I never assumed you had played Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix, in fact, I assumed you hadn't. Not many people really have anyway, that's why i suggested you type it in the search bar.

  • @SkittlesTheLucario Actually you said "What? You've never played Piroli?" -- to me, it would seem that you would have assumed I HAD played it to at least know WHAT Piroli was.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 However to me, it would be a question as to whether you've played it or not. Either way, this conversation is no longer worth keeping up since both of us understand the other now, don't you agree?

  • @SkittlesTheLucario Not completely. You said "What? You've never played Piroli?", somehow implying that you at least expected me to at least know WHAT it was, even if I hadn't played it. You never bothered to say what it was.

  • How did I manage to not know about this the whole time the GameCube was out?

  • Thats actually pretty cool. Maybe theres something like this with the wii menu music :3

  • @nintendoguy360 Yeah. If I can get a copy of the menu music and speed it up, I could try it.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 Nothing there.

  • very clever easter egg nintendo i wonder how many people actually found this out

  • Its true!

  • WOW LOL

  • for those who don't know that was a cameo for the Famicom disk system X3 i really should do a vid for that

  • That's crazy!! Amazing find!

  • Good old Nintedo.

  • If this is the gamecube start up sped up...why is it the exact same length?

  • @mavrickindigo Startup? Where does it say that?

  • Sorry, but you have to be either completely retarded, or blind (or possibly both). Firstly, where in hell does it mention "gamecube start up"? And secondly, it's not the same length. I don't think 5 seconds is the same as nearly 2 minutes (the original length). This is the GameCube MENU(!!) music. NOT the freaking Gamecube "random cube rolling around start-up logo thingy". The MENU(!). You know? Time and Date setup, Memory cards, blah blah? The set-up menu? That's what this is (sped-up).

  • @theultimatekoopa2 To be fair, I misread the title until reading this, and dismissed it as oversight.

  • Not the start up. It's the menu theme. You should hear while the block-style menu is hovering in the center of the screen.

  • Wow, awesome find! I never knew that xD! Keep up the good work man!

    5/5 + favorites

  • you should've played the famicom startup, the gamecube startup, and then the gamecube startup sped up for people who have never played famicom like me but nice find

  • So did the famicom use to make that sound or something and you discovered by speeding the Gamecube startup screen up it would recreate the sound?

  • So what gave you the idea to do this?

  • That's a hell of an Easter Egg!

  • Bricks have been shat....

  • Mwahahaha.

  • This is one of Nintendo's best kept secrets ;p

    Amazing find.

  • I got one free lool

  • youtube commenters are troll assholes as usual, but honestly this is a pretty cool find

  • Yet you interestingly enough clicked on this video.

  • Eh.. oh.. kayy..

  • Without Nintendo, gaming would die.

    Malleo and Weegee FTMFW.

  • now can you prove if girls poop like guys do?

  • i sell my gamecube.

  • Get a Wii?

  • People have fun on it, so who cares what you think about which system is better as long as other people can have fun on them. Fucking fanboy cunt.

  • @theultimatekoopa2 wii's don't work for this.

  • @megamanx452 I meant "get a wii" in terms of playing GameCube games not to hear this music XD. Although some people are probably lame enough to spend whatever for a GameCube just to hear this.

  • how much

  • ohh really..? $25...

  • were you stay at though

  • I have youtube's largest gamecube collection video series. I'm at part 15 and I'm halfway through the gc games

  • you just lost the game.

  • Well this discovery puts my cure for cancer to shame...

  • @TheRealAlfy LMFAO xD

  • I got that shit for $10 bucks

  • if you press Z as you turn the gamecube on weird monkeys start making monkey sounds

    it's true, try it

  • I SERIOUSLY hope your joking. Otherwise your the dumbest retard ive ever met! Ive seen the video. If you want easy proof the world is round, please take a flight around the whole world. If you ever find an area where you come off of the map, contact the scientists, you will be a rich man.

  • You are doing a good job here.

  • MIND BLOWN! :D

  • Where can I download the MP3?

  • o-o.........everything i know is a lie

  • MIND=BLOWN

  • What is the software that allowed you to speed up the video without sound is cut?

  • Audacity can do it

  • i.e, in Audacity, I sped up by 400%

    In description.

  • Although in this case, I sped it up by 400% (i.e. it is 5 times faster), and then sped it up again by 400%, (i.e. it is 25 times faster).

  • Sounds like the Everquest theme

  • Screw Digg! Reddit 4 LIFE!

  • wtf man

  • Hold on, I got digged? And yeah, wtf? It was actually ShadowtheRoadhog who told me that this was the FDS BIOS thing.

  • Well then, it really would've been a team effort, since you were the one that decided to speed it up.

You could always thank him through the video description or annotations.

  • Your vid was featured on Digg

  • Hey ultimatekoopa, I just helped spread this across the internet. Your video was even featured on GoNintendo.

    You're welcome. C:

  • Why thank you.

  • Cool!

  • MIND=FUCKED

  • My music? Are you a fucking retard? This IS the GameCube menu music you stupid retard. And how can it have "two notes at the beginning"?

  • hey if this is true could you make a debunking video? I dunno enough about music to tell

  • Famicom Disk System BIOS Startup Screen.

  • @bmcj199 Cool. I just listened to that.

  • I'd say it sounds like something from a WarioWare game. I'm sure it is.

  • Impossible. The first WarioWare game was released in 2003, and the GameCube was developed in 2000 at the earliest (it may have even started in 1999, I don't know), so this tune could have been placed any time between 1999 or 2000, up to when ever it was finished, which would be early or mid-2001 at the latest.

  • Ah, good point...

  • Well, look who I found.

  • Why hello thar. <3

  • You found him? Are you sure it wasn't the video that found you? *gasps*

  • This sounds like Mario kart.

  • Not to me.

  • cool.
