As for that room covered in sand and spikes, you could use the Gust Bellows to clean up all the sand and find your way around the spikes; the treasure chest is hidden underneath the sand.
Okay, I knew you could deflect Sentrobe's missiles with the shield, but I had no idea you could volley them back with the sword! That's pretty cool. XD
Useful trick to conserving some of your stamina in sinksand: walk in the sand until the bottom of your shield touches the sand, then run for a little bit to rise out of the sand, rinse and repeat. ;)
