I do not agree, I also have a small business and I want to have health care for my employee's. If pay 34% rather then the 39% Iconcider that an an investment into America and not personal selfishness. To have it go to education for my children and grandchildren's future so they can have a better future. To have it go to better cars and off of foreign oil I'm all for moving our country foward then to turn it into a mockery to outher countries of the world.
Government's intention is NOT to get small businesses to move forward, invest and create jobs. Its intention is to destroy businesses so we become more dependent on government. Then it all makes sense, no?
Either that or you are abominably stupid, and need to turn in your computer... unless you are posting from a public library - in which case you need to chop off your otherwise useless fingers.
How do you propose to institute "Utopian Communism?"
You are aware there will be a sizable part of society, if not the majority, who won't voluntarily accept?
If society really had the choice, they may very well NOT institute it. What would you do about that, then?
It's been my observation that even mainstream socialists don't really want Marxist communism because even most socialists won't voluntarily subscribe to the level of self-sacrifice that such an ideology will mandate.
manco82, there's plenty of needy in other countries. TARP, Stimulus(1), QE1, QE2 - none seem to be working. Over 1/2 of the earnings of the S&P 500 corporations now originate outside of the U.S. and over 1/2 of the income taxes paid by S&P 500 corporations are paid to foreign governments.
Habitual underachievers like you, clinging to your moral fantasies as an excuse not to earn an honest living, have rendered the U.S economy a bad risk. You better think about how to turn the trend around.
@manco82 wages are a function of supply and demand. If the government says wages must rise by X dollars in terms of health care benefits, then they must fall in some other metric.
The short-term effects are even more nefarious (unemployment), especially in the midst of a recession.
Even if you believe some people aren't entitled to the fruits of their labor, try to learn some economics, before saying this or that law will help the needy. Motivations and outcomes are rarely correlated in econ.
Well, you need to turn a profit when you run a business because that's the only way a business can grow and prosper. Profit is also the reward for the work you do, otherwise why run a business if all you're doing is breaking even (going nowhere) or losing money.
Besides, how do you know that he doesn't help the needy? His business may provide work opportunities. He may even be donating some of his profit to help those who can't work.
Hang in there, buddy. Keep on keeping on. Don't give up. 'Cause we haven't consumed everything you've got, just yet. You can produce a whole lot more for us to confiscate if you just keep on going. We want every drop possible, not just every drop you've got. And when it's all over and there isn't anything else left for you to but put your hand out for a government handout -- well, you know you can trust us. Right?

Once we are rid of parasitic capitalism, society will be free to institute Utopian Communism.

@manco82, if it weren't for capitalists, what would the socialists and marxists do for money? Where would they go to prey on the money makers? :)

you have no other choice but to move forward...forward on the road to success, mediocrity or, worst case, poverty.
