it's says it can't find the nav_data.bin file but it's looking for it in the folder i downloaded the Generate Key folder where the batch file is so if i copy the .bin file to my desktop then copy it back to the phone would it work then there is an issue of rooting the phone to put the .bin back on the phone after or having it in usb debugging mode is suffecient.... what's the bottom line i would just like to know if i donate would it work or if i did the above would it work ????

@semsem9637 This should get run on sentence of the year. It also makes no sense. If you are able to find the .bin file, then why are you getting an error stating that it cannot find it? And there is no mention here on putting the .bin file on the phone.

your method is long and tedious. You can get an app from android market that will do it for free! check out the "Galaxy_S Unlock" app. Three clicks and its done.
