  • he was an asset for us ... may ALLAH bless his soul and give him a great place in heavens ...

  • Hey m47nu, thanks a lot! But is it all he is singing? I think there is more to it you didn't mention.

Unfortunately, we all (Karachiites) learn Sindhi all through our school life (from primary uptill almost the end of high school) yet still we always feel too much struggling in keeping it with us later in our lives!

  • the great allan repeats the lines at least twice ^_^

  • this guy had the strength to shake your soul!!

  • such a peaceful and beautiful song

  • but why his turban look alike sikh turban...

  • folk legend

  • Great!!

  • And a real hero he was, coming from deep inside of the slums of the Sindh province, unable to read and write, yet receiving the highest civilian award in the country, and he touched people's minds and souls with his eccentric music, and he was a good man. May Allah bless his soul, and may he rest in peace.

  • His voice literally sends chills down your spine. This man was a true legend, indeed Pride of Pakistan, but we're such a zaleel nation that we demoted him to the post of a peon at the Institute of Sindhology. When he died on July the 4th, 2000, no one cared. The news of his demise didn't even make the front pages, and stories of him being financially depressed during his last days surfaced, but no one shed a fucking tear. What a way to treat a real hero.

  • Re: AFuriousMan's comment

I'm heartbroken after reading your comment. I would've hugged him if I saw him and would have done everything in my power to take care of him. Ah, what a voice, what a voice...

  • Great, great, just great. Keep up the good work. Allan Fakir, Pride of Pakistan.
