No offense, but this phone kinda sucks with games. You'd be better off with a Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic( same price) which can play doodle jump etc. And it has much better applications! :D

@Nightwalcer22 If it doens't work for you, try another .jar files man, OAWALKER gave us a very good explanation on how to upload the .jar files into your mobile phone, if the ones from LG doesn't work, try in google "jar games for mobile" and upload it via mass storage.

anybody know how you install java on your jet???? my jet aint got java installed so some websites dont work properly on it e.g betfair. the website says i need to install java. (this is probably the reason most people are commenting on here that the file types are unsupported.)

@spi1opc You can try flashing the firmware. I did today and it is pretty straightforward. Go to google and type in "darkforestgroup" for the website with the instructions. I would post a link but youtube doesnt allow them sry.

u cant install java apps by directly opening them.u should firstly convert the soft to .jad format ,then use tk file explorer , connect it to the phone (pc-celphone) ,transfer the soft to the usser,java directory....after this u must enter a code in ur celphone to update the java database...for more information message me...:)

the reason it says unsupported file type is because the phone cant install .jar files directly from the phone, you have to download with phone or use TKFileExplorer

Some Jet's firmwares dont support installing jar files from the memory. Only if you download them directly from the phone, or use TKFile explorer to put them in the right folder and then use a code to refresh the java database of the phone.

The problem is, that fw is preventing you from installing games stored in phone's memory that's the "unsupported file" error. It's prevention against piracy.

It WILL ALLOW you to install games from internet, so all you have to do is to store your games on some freehosting and then connect to wifi and download it.

To install it from memory you need different fw or "offline-instalerl" tool.I could give you translated version of installer which I'm using. Beg for it! :-D

Hm, I tried it with the package of games you did.

My phone (the same Jet S8000) says the file type weren't supported... They are .jar, too.

I extracted the downloaded package... And put it on my phone. But then i could not run the .jar files which shall install the games...

Plese help me.
