Glad you put this one up...was waiting for this one. I was 11 when this came out, and I was amazed that there were that many teams in CFB at that time. I loved this game.
@setemupSK I was like 3 or 4 when we had this, I felt the same way, in all honesty I think I just liked the game because there were so many different teams and jerseys and all... kept me interested haha
@psuzeppelin5 Well thanks for making me feel old, man! :P Lol. This game did the same for me at the time as well. Really liked all the helmets and stuff the game showed on the team select menu. It blew my mind. The music was incredible as well. You don't happen to have the '97 version as well, do you? Didn't quite like that one as well as '96, but it was the first one that featured Boise St, Idaho, and UAB. The pre-game music (coin toss) on the '97 version was killer.
@psuzeppelin5 The genesis version of '97, I might add. The snes version had the same music as '96. The music on the sega version was incredible for '97. If you have that, if you could make a video sometime...that would be awesome of you :)
@setemupSK I actually never owned that but I could gladly put up a video of it if you want (thank these free Rom sites haha, but I do own 96 on cartridge)
@psuzeppelin5 Hey man, that would be wonderful of you whenever you have the time for it. I would really appreciate it! If you could record a min or 2 of the song during the coin toss and pre-game menu, that would be fantastic. I used to have all these games, but when PlayStation was first introduced, I sold all my sega stuff to come up with the money to buy one of those. A mistake I'll always regret :/
Oh My God- this is it!!! I used to LOVE this game. I think its the best 16-bit sports game ever- you even had the choice to play a 16-team tourney after the season, as you can see in the menu. My fav is NCAA 08 tho- the last college game with the old rules (25 sec play-clock, clock stops when you go out of bounds, etc.)
@the7thwizard I'm actually wondering the same thing, I wanted to jump straight to the next round but I haven't fiigured it out... I'll try and tell you if I figure it out
i used to only play this game for the awesome song in the beginning.

The Main Menu Song for this Game Sounds like Rave Music Also the Pre game music sounds like a mid 90s Pop song or an Anime Theme
