  • Yea some people care

  • at least someone cares about us gymnast! :)

  • at least ESPN cares!!!

  • This is soooo cooolll(: i learn new things about gymnastics(:

  • dat ass.

  • What about mens gymnastics, WTFFFF.

  • I don't get why it's just called "gymnastics" here in the US? There are Rhtyhmic and Trampolining programs here but they aren't nearly as successful, but other countries always seem to call it "artistic gymnastics"...but that's probably assuming artistry in the US is done at the bare minimum. LOL!

  • @ChainChomp2 Haha, I know!

  • I'm glad someone finally noticed what it takes to be a gymnast.

  • Wish they did one on men's gymnastics.

  • It is my 1st gymnastics comp is december 3 and my bars r TERRIBAL and this showed wat to do!!!! My life is about gymnastics!!!!<33

  • no shit gymnastics is one of the hardest sports in the world!

  • Let's see where gymnastics holds up against free running in the next 10 years. If it continues to grow at the rate it is, it will probably end up right up there.

  • @the80h I hope you're not saying that free runners will be equal to gymnasts (especially those in artistic gymnastics) because there's no way that any other sport will be equal to gymnastics. And that's not just physically; it's mentally as well. To be frank, free runners won't hold a candle up to the talent of gymnasts.

  • @JohnPhilipSousa519 freerunning is gymnastics in urban environments, theres no set obstacles, no padding. Traceurs have gymnasts, sprinter, long jump, climber, & other qualities that they have 2 B good at with precision. U have 2 constantly know ur changing environment. the mental part of freerunning would B more then gymnasts to constantly check environments figure out distance, power needed. gymnastics has been around 4 years, freerunning is just starting so theres not as much years behind it.

  • @the80h Yes, but gymnasts do more than running off of walls and jumping. They do it with form, grace, many rotations and flips, and that's only floor. They use three other apparatuses as well. Plus, that's only artistic gymnastics. There's also trampoline, rhythmic, acrobatic, and a few others. Gymnastics is the hardest sport in the world. These gymnasts above are collegiate. If you saw the Olympic and World champions, you'd be shocked.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 do you think freerunners dont use strict form, with flow? do you thnik they only get on things and jump off? freerunning is movement.

maybe you should watch some videos

    /watch?v=t3-3QJDGhfQ

    /watch?v=nGp_TjMDLIo

    /watch?v=FP29nf6HOJc

  • @the80h Of course that's all very impressive, however I wouldn't consider that strict form. By the way, parkour isn't the same as free running according to "experts" so that last video shouldn't have been sent unless you know what sport you are "endorsing" to me. I suggest you watch Daiane Dos Santos on floor, Elena Produnova on vault, Shawn Johnson on beam, and Beth Tweddle on bars. That's only women's events too. There's men's as well.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 let me first say, I'm not saying gymnastics isn't amazing. parkour is very specific. freerunning is seen as movement (parkour, tricking, so on). freerunners work on strict form just a different form. what you think good form in gymnastics is different from them. also realize gymnastics has such a huge background. parkour is extremely young. we dont have coaches ,any guidelines, or specific events we participate in. im saying give it some time. it will be up there

  • @the80h It definitely will and I'm, by no means, trying to discredit freerunning or parkour at all. I think it definitely deserves to be televised, the things they do are incredible.

  • @ShawnVikaKomova2012 im sure both will see incredible advances in the years to come.

  • its nbd...

  • We just make it look easy.

  • DAUUMN i did not know we do that in gym :)

  • Thanks for noticing, ESPN.

  • damn straight

  • That's why i love this sport.

  • Thanks for uploading :)
