I have both characters 1 male 1 female bioware does an amazing job incorporating story paths for 1 gender and not the other so as not to miss these things I make 1 of each when it comes to their games. Ryan's right it's a player's choice don't doubt it

At the people saying shepard is a female, you are incorrect. He CAN, infact, be both, but in both games when you enter character customization he is default a male. He was made to be a man in the game, you can just change him to be a female.

@fantasysheart you could get cleaner clips if you got something like the I grabber off amazon it plugs into your laptop or computer and the Standard composite cables then you can record off the computer

@yamiaainferno You should play Mass Effect.  I have both ME and DA, and i'm way addicted to ME and ME2. 5 playthroughs of ME, and about 6 playthroughs on ME2, and counting.
