But this is just the kind of thing I would like to see the torries do more - open up to companies that are private companies (as in not public limited companies that can be destroyed by the monarchy i.e. short selling). The Scots take an extra £1800 per head compared to the English, that is a fact, scotland is subsidised enormously and I for one would hate to see the Union break but there is a part of me that would like to see it, to spank you ingrates! actually, as for voting, the tories nearly always win the popular vote, at least in England. As for the ethos "money is our god" that's just bollocks, the ethos is that money belongs to people not governments. Firstly I would disagree that public service quality would suffer, there will be budget cuts but managment will be more efficient. More investment can't compete with better managment. The tories are a party you can trust, which i why they have my vote.

I think Cameron was just adapting to the situation where he was being interviewed.
