I have really never understood why people are all up on a dj's dick these days to be honest. cdj2000s alone can do A LOT, let alone pair with the latest Pioneer top of the line mixer. However, I could see if he wasn't using headphones if he had a laptop (which to me is still not pure), but to not use headphones and not have a visual alignment to look at looks...odd. Yes there are BPM counters on the CDJ's, but look at Carl Cox using 2000's with a BPM counter and then come back to this video. BPM counters are accurate but not 100% imo (I own them). Something is definitely off here.

its funny how i was checking out david guettas fake djing and then ive moved on to this. Theres quite a few of these 'fake dj's' about these days.
Its a shame really that they get to the stage where they think fuck it i cant be arsed. In my opinion one of the biggest buzzes you can get is double dropping a tune and watching the crowd go mental.
Oh, and to clear things up, you can mix without headphones, it just sounds sloppy. lucky this guy had a pre-recorded mix to hand!

I'm not a fan of any of the guys listed. It's obviously compiled by people who like crap music & wouldn't recognise a good dj at all or don't know anything about scratching or turntablism. In my opinion even a bad scratcher with no rhythm would be better than this guy! Peace.

I honestly don't understand!! with a thing called Rekordbox and autocue u can launch a track with no headphones the only thing you need to know is the currently BPM and the next track Track BPM, and of course a sense of rythm to perfect launch the track on time, with enough practice anyone can do it.
The only thing I don't agree that he did is turn his back on the public more than once

I have friends that have been performing for over 10 years but never made it out of their basements because they don't have the right connections. Most dj's don't really do much anyway, they usually just fiddle with knobs to make it look like they're doing something. Big artists like this basically have a pre-recorded or pre-determined set either way. Its not that big a deal, if they can get the job then who's the real idiot? cdj2000s alone can do A LOT, let alone pair with the latest Pioneer top of the line mixer. However, I could see if he wasn't using headphones if he had a laptop (which to me is still not pure), but to not use headphones and not have a visual alignment to look at looks...odd. Yes there are BPM counters on the CDJ's, but look at Carl Cox using 2000's with a BPM counter and then come back to this video. BPM counters are accurate but not 100% imo (I own them). Something is definitely off here.

Then it goes all glitchy as if he's adding effects when he's doing nothing. Then the next traps pops in and back again with no cross fader movement. Either this guys a magician, or he's a faker. As a DJ myself with the same equipment standing over there I can tell for sure that the effects you hear and loops are impossible to create with that little effort live.
