Delegator's 5th of 16 behind Dream Ahead in the G1 July Cup was a decent enough effort. But his recent last of 9 in the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood was very disappointing. Given that Delegator got the kind of fast ground that he likes in the Lennox Stakes. Which lead's to believe that while Delegator looked awesome at 7f and a mile as a 3yr.old, perhaps 6f is his limit now? If the ground stays fast, I think we'll get a better sense after we see him run in the G1 Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock. JMO.
